Since when has there been more than one carrier of the iPhone in the US? And what makes you think the iPhone will be subsidizied? It's always been the full price of the phone PLUS the contract.
On all the home routers I've used you still need a password and username to access any of the administrative controls of the router. It's not like anyone can send a packet to 192.168.1.1 and reboot your router.
Maybe after Microsoft stops screwing up, and the damage is repaired, developers will stop complaining. I won't be holding my breath.
What damage? More work for administrators? Maybe if the administrators focused on coding compliant webpages instead of catering to the retards that still use IE6 it wouldn't be as drastic as some people are trying to make it out to be.

My only complaint with the Micro Vault is that it feels cheap. I picked one up last weekend though and it's a quality drive otherwise.
