    It is completely possible. Personally I still do not have a Degree and have nearly 15 years of experience I have worked in IT ever since I got out of HighSchool. Albeit I started at a lower Wage then someone with a 4 year degree, but I also did not have the Student Loans ;) 15 years later I work with people who have PHD's and MS in Comp Sci and make the same or nearly the same wage

    Cogent is a good Network, however it appears the Sprint/Cogent thing has been going on for sometime.. I recall this same issue atleast as far back as 2003 when I worked for one of the two mentioned companies

    Yes, people have sat for friends on tests, etc I am sure in College, however, I don't think any of that is specific to the IT Community. I would much rather take my PC to a IT guy who cheated, then be represented by the lawyer/Accountant, etc that cheated.

    it definitely did, I was around in those days as well and when I went from my C128 to my PC with Windows, and my 40 meg hard drive, I thought I was the Man.. I recall saying" 40 Meg hard Drive, I will never fill that up) ahh.. now Even I have worked on larger projects

    those same people could be retrained to work in the "Biofuel" industry, the loss of jobs is sometimes needed for change, its unfortunate, but come on, how many people use to work on Circuit boards for a living? (I did) now they are all throw away, retrain and work..

    Yeah, I totally agree with this, noone has seen it, and so many things in this area are Vapor and spoken of, even shown in demos and never come to be
