    This guy is just talking about the client. I've seen them on Peak and Peanuts. Unfortunately there is no VNC server. So I can get my X or Windows desktop over to my trusty NeXT cube but not the other way around :(

    Actually Vice does emulate the Commodore floppy drives which are basically autonomous computers themselves. You just have to activate "True drive emulation".

    How are they going to remove the offending code from the sources with revealing what the offending code was? Everyone can diff just the sources and then figure out what is was. Unless they want to declare the whole kernel illegal.

    PS: Anyone up for a round of SCO code lotto? Just take a wild guess in which file and which line the offending code might me. The closest guess wins :)

    You will probably have to merge XFS into -ac yourself. Some time ago the same question has beeen asked on the linux-xfs mailing list and one of the developers stated that it would be to hard to keep track of the -ac patches. Alan can produce his patches "at an alarming rate" :)

    This expands to something like:

    fastjack@nexus[314]:~$

    The first number is the return code of the last command and the second is the line number of the history.

    Now just turn on CSHJUNKIEHISTORY and work effectively :)

    I guess it won't be long until someone figures out how to use those card for something else. How about some extra cpu cycles for Povray or Mesa? Or perhaps as a crypto accelerator?

    Did someone take a look at the screen shots and videos on Apple's site? This is the coolest GUI design I've ever seen. I think I really hav to buy this iMac thingy just to get this cool GUI :)

    But until then I just can't wait to get an Enlightenment and gtk theme that looks exactly the same.

    Perhaps someone should create a web site that describes how to get rid of Windows 9x/NT/2000 from your computer. Now that would be useful!
