The next generation will take care of it, ask them if they give a fuck about what happens to people who can't get a record deal or a book deal - ask them in the comments section of their blogs that have hundreds and thousands of subscribers. The games I used to play were so great that I played them until I broke them, until they were what I saw when I closed my eyes, and I can still go back to them today and genuinely enjoy them, even though I have tired myself out on them. The problem I have is I find it hard to find anything that measures up to those experiences and memories. 300 people can work on a game for 3 years and yet I can play it for 3 minutes and think "For fucks sake, this is just boring".
