  1. Re:Neither reviewer liked it on Tron: Legacy — Too Much Imagination Required? · · Score: 1

I feel the plot was lost in the pretty graphics.

I am going to make one call here though.... this movie SHOULD be nominated for best original score the Academy Awards if not outright win that award. The composers did something I hadn't ever heard before and made it work and it was good. Of course, I'm not sure if the people making nominations and voting on the best will manage to get their heads out of their asses long enough to realize that.

    Er... how?

Just how are you capable of using only the capslock+ asdfghjkl;' + Enter keys?

Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm not sure how you could even write code with just that. There seems to be some very important keys missing. e i o u. I'm pretty sure most functions would use one of those four vowels. Heaven help you if you need to do any math in your code and you need a non-user inputted variable.

Maybe I'm just underestimating your definition of rarely, or maybe your definition of home row.

It is a mantra that is often repeated.

It's just that it's not where near as positive as the spin it's given.

In reality, FOSS in concept is just like Free Market theory. In theory both are fantastic. However neither is in practice as the theory dictates.

Just because many people can view code does not mean that people will be viewing the code.
It does not mean that people will be viewing the problematic portions of the code.
It does not mean that people with the appropriate skill will be looking at the code.

Finding and eradicating bugs? I sure FOSS has the upper hand. I don't feel that FOSS has the upper hand when it comes to intentional weaknesses in the code and is in fact more vulnerable due to the anybody can submit concept.
