Maybe I'm just lucky, but I played with disasters and never experienced a meltdown. The only disasters I ever had were fires, tornadoes, the occasional flood, and frequent monster attacks. In fact IIRC my most common disaster (aside from fires) was monster attacks. My cities were always like the fucking Tokyo of SimCity.
I don't know, I considered Soc 101 to be a pretty blow off class. Maybe that was because it was taught mostly to business majors. I was at a point where I asked the prof what days had in class assignments and when the tests were and only showed up those days and managed to get near perfect scores in that class. I also ruined the curve on ever exam, so I think I pissed off a number of the students by barely showing up and fouling up the curve for them.
Sorry chap, I'm going to have to take a short break from this experiment. I feel a most dire need to drop a deuce in the Colbert, lest I drop a deuce in my suit, and we know what happened the last time that happened.
I could use alternate ways to make money, but I don't find playing the auction house fun. In fact, I find it highly unethical. You're taking advantage of people who don't know what things really should cost. That's flat out wrong. And anti-gold farmers complain about my ethics?
Gold farmers -rarely- just straight up farm gold off of monsters. They use auction houses, they don't just take advantage of people not knowing how much something should cost, but they also have a tendency to inflate prices.
Take Final Fantasy XI. You don't get much gil from monsters, or from selling items (which makes me wonder how the gil is generated in the first place), but rather you make your money from selling goods on the auction house. In FFXI, gil sellers would camp NMs to get their loot to sell on the auction house for ludicrous prices. They essentially jacked up the prices for most rare loot items. The money they made from selling the items is then sold to players, which is used to buy the aforementioned up-priced item. If the player tries to farm the mob on his own, then he has to compete with the gil sellers (who were good at camping NMs) and other players looking for the mob. When Square finally put their foot down on gil sellers you saw a marked deflation in prices.
Obama's only redeeming quality is that he has a talent for reading speeches from a teleprompter. I seriously doubt that he even wrote any of them.
Redeeming? I find it sad. I could understand, but not necessarily agree with reading the wrong speech (you'd think he'd at least have reviewed his speech prior to giving it), but the fact that he said a line that so obvious for someone other than himself (thanking Obama), shows that he's doing nothing more than reading what is on the teleprompter. He's not comprehending it, he's not even thinking about it.
Honestly, I bet you could inject some pretty vulgar things into his teleprompter and he's probably read it due to how oblivious he is to what is on the teleprompter.
Well PS controller hasn't changed much since the original Playstation.
Let's look at the major competitors.
XBox - Buttons in approximately the same locations/quantities + the white and black buttons. XBox 360 - Same thing as XBox except that black/white have been moved/removed (can't remember which).
Nintendo 64 - No where close to PS controller design. Gamecube - Similar feel to PS controller, except that the right side buttons are arranged in a different format. Wii- Totally different.
What makes human activity unnatural? Considering that adaptivity is a natural human trait, I would really like to know what about human society is unnatural.
Oh man, I didn't even realize that. It started at 12:02am though. I guess between the file size and the time, some people may not think that's a real file.
Square is one of the exceptions, however there is a lot that they don't have to significantly redesign. The chocobo, while different in each game (and not always), still all look similar. Essentially the chocobo was created once, then stylized. The same thing with every major archetype with the series, from monsters to summons. That's significant cost savings on the art budget. Sure they still have to design the model, but they don't have to go through the whole new creation process. Instead they can focus on coming up with a new game mechanic system, and story (though they may have been slacking on the story department). Further, they've been modeling their main characters after the current Japanese pop icons. That helps save on the design budget for characters, and is one of the reasons the latest Final Fantasy games (read PS2 releases onward) have not garnered high approvals from me.
Even with power, these transformers take months to build. If I recall correctly, you'd be lucky to get more than 20 built a year with our current manufacturing.
if just one sociopath gets his hands on the plans, and is able to change the 'base programming' (to blatently steal a science fiction term) from 'do good' to 'destroy all humans', then we have an even bigger problem on our hands).
yet more proof that the super-hot are ultra-cold?
Nah, the just discovered the existence of the Plane of Shadow. Now we just need to figure out how to plane shift to it.
I have a Logitech keyboard that exhibits that behavior. I've discovered that this is due somehow to how I position my legs while typing.
The problem is also fixed if I move my tower, but I have neither the location or motivation to move it.

Ironically this was a case of a Democrat and a Republican who usually votes with Democrats submitting the bill.

Has the goatse guy been spotted recently?

Some of my scripts spit out 9.5 GB log files.
See?

Yes, excellent.
You say that as if it isn't common knowledge that Shakrai is a Democrat.
Honestly, I wasn't expecting any moderation on the woosh. Don't blame me because I'm beautiful.
Wooosh.
So you're a Republican?

I prefer my meat to be tender and melt in my mouth.
That's why I like veal.
Human flesh is pretty gamey.
Filled with the large things you saw on porn sites?
The CO2 emissions are entirely useless to the purpose of the story and are just put in for emotional appeal.

Those may not be mutually exclusive.
