Actually, if you look at the screen shot of the account there are repeated messages.
Maybe G-Archiver sent a message every time it was launched or something.
So there are probably far fewer than 1700 accounts affected.
Also, if I were the guy who found this, I would have changed the password, then emailed everyone from the account to let them know what had happened. I suppose google could restore the messages so THEY can inform the owners.
3 weeks ago I bought a Dell M1530 laptop with Vista home edition.
I was concerned at first because of all the negatives I'd been hearing about Vista.
Again... I've only had it for 3 weeks, but I can't seem to find any big problems.
I can run Firefox fine. I can run HalfLife fine. BZFlag works fine.
It can see my network fine. UltraVNC viewer works fine.
So then when I'm... I mean I can... this allows me too... well it's just so awesome!!!
The trouble is, in a forrest situation... life is like a box of chocolates.
You never know what your gonna get.

Why don't we wait until the actual event happens before reporting it?
Are we supposed to be preparing ourselves or something?
And I'm sure others will too.
Perhaps if ebay knows we are watching, they'll behave better.

I guess I will start seeing the problems later?
