Given the fact that our government is running America into the ground. They are getting ready for an exodus of people out of America, and thier taking steps to prevent this. Better start converting your money into Euro's while you still can. And begg Canada too approve your citizenship papers. Eh?
SSD's use the exact same interface as PATA/SATA,..They just use a different form of medium storage.
That's where Seagate's patent come into play.
Now,..if they went to a direct USB interface,.. they would be classified as a USB Flash drive,
and would'nt be held against the patent.
What SSD makers should have done was come up with a new communication interface when SSD was still
in the R&D phase.
Your forgeting the point,..
America was founded on the premise that each state IS an independant state, whose local government regulated
it's own laws.
We are a UNION of states working together, Not combined states working as one.
Unfortunatly, we have a pananoid federal government trying to sieze total control over all 50 states.
Our fore-father's wanted a system, whereas, if Texas did'nt like certain policies D.C was passing, Texas
would tell D.C to go to hell. Now, what the fed's do is bribe states with financial support they collect through Federal taxes which is BS in the first place.
What we need is each state to take back it's constitutional obligation, and start regulating themself's like thier supposed to do.
It's true, I've played most console ports to the PC and the game response just seems to lagg behind FPS games made native to the PC. Take Gears of War and Turning point, to me both seem to have slow response times when using a mouse/keyboard, and any PC gamer can tell that those games interfaces were'nt made for PC play.
I got into White Sands, with an jar and a UN flag.
He's my story
One night I was with some buddies and we got to talking about Oppenhiemer and WWII and the bomb. We all thought it would be kewl to go to the Trinity site where they detonated the first A-Bomb, and after doing research on the site, we came to the conclusion that it would be pointless to go visit since it's been closed off to the public for "Safty Reasons". Well anyway I ended up going there alone since everyone else was to chicken-shit to go, and the fact that it was in New Mexico (We lived in Austin, TX at the time going to UT.) I got to White Sands Missle Range the next day and pulled up to the front gate,.which by the way did'nt look to secured. (I guess being out in the middle of the desert, you don't get to many vistors). Well, to my surprise, the guards just flagged me through with out even making me stop. After driving 20 miles or so I came to another post, this time I stopped and asked the guard where gound-zero was. He just told me to keep driving and "keep the posts to your right", and so I moved on. (I realized what they mean by the posts sticking up out the ground now, because the sand covers the road and you'll get lost with out them). Anyway, about 90-100 miles in, I ran into what looked like the last remaining post which was heavly guarded by gun emplacements and armored vechicles. Well, the guy in charge did'nt take to well me being there, and I'd say he kinda had a Nazi complex or something. I got kinda scared so I made up some story on the fly about doing radiation experiments with the sand and I was there to collect a sample. I showed him the jar and I guess he bought the story. After about an hour of being "detained" he said I can go get the sample but I'd have to go in one of their vechicles and with an armed escort. When I got back from collecting the samples, they told me the guards at the first station thought I was with the UN since my Mini-Van was white and I had a UN flag waving on my antenna. The second post thought I was a student with UT there on behalf of the UN and assumed I was legit since I made it through the first post. And I guess since I was a long way from home, the third post just let me finish my quest after they concluded I was no threat. Well, I still got the sealed jar of sand in my curio display, and my my friends still can't believe I did it. I just wish I owned a camera at the time so I'd have pics to show everyone.
The C64, as with older OS's pre-dating the GUI were sigle threaded, non multitasking, single use machines. Of couse the Old C64 ran flawless back in the day, cause you only ran one program at a time. Any application specific OS runs extreamly well with out any much needed hardware. Comparing a modern OS with an old school OS like the BASIC in the C64 is like you trying to hold a different conversation with 5 people at the same time. If you have one task to do sitting at your desk, you'll probbaly do it well. Now try doing five completely different tasks at your desk at the same time, and I'll bet you my left nut your going to make mistakes.
No need for costly infrastructure or building permits.
Airborne drones would be perfect for small to medium sized packages
delivered to your front door or dropbox.
Plus you can link the frame work with technolgy already in placed like
Google maps and GPS tracking.
Mount that railgun on a satellite and it can sink ANY ship. And with the right electonic equipment, you could even target subs. As of today,.. we have no counter to space based weapons.
The definition of a cyborg is someone with embedded or implanted technolgy. They are not cyborgs, but robotic assisted workers. Just because I use a car to drive to work does not make me a cyborg. But,..If I had my legs permently intergrated into a go-cart, that might make me a cyborg.
Where's my flying robot that follows me around everywhere.
They promised us a Moon Base, Flying Cars, Flying PDA's,
And Android chicks...since the 60's.
And all I have to show is this POS iPhone.
Blah!!!!

Then the "System" won't be able to forge the results.
It's just corporate BS to hire cheaper overseas labour.

Given the state of software these days,.. They mean 27,000 million mistakes per second. Or 27,000 million mybad's per second.
Keyboard,..$1500
Baby with glass of koolaid,..$1
Finding out your $1500 dollar keyboard no longer works,..Priceless
Now that there's no competition in this format,... Sony can extort more for Blu-Ray players and demand higher royalties.
If I was a terrorist,.. I'd just go back to old school "movable type" printing presses.
So it's 1990 all over again. I'm gonna have to move to Fiji.
Why doesn't M$ just jump on the open source Linux bandwagon and make it's own distro of Linux?
Killing thier wife and kids works well too.
Mount that railgun on a satellite and it can sink ANY ship.

As of today,.. we have no counter to space based weapons.
And people willing stepped into incinerators because they were in the "kill zone" of the war simulation?
Didn't we learn from this 60's flick?
What moron would want to live in a S*^$hole such as NYC anyway?
Just more ultra rich people waving thier dicks around.
Phuc Britney!!!! I Did,..
There was nothing wrong with punch cards. And there was always a paper trail.
