You can get all the specs at FIC's webpage that is convenintly linked for you here: http://www.fic.com.tw/systems/Ia/aqua.asp Well, I heard buzz rumors about a price of a steep $600. Considering all of it's functionality that ain't that much, but screen prices should drop by Q4 and so should the aqua. It's not functional yet, I doubt it is vaporware.......but maybe "vapor-functionality" like DVD (buzz word!).
www.redhatisnotlinux.org I think whoever wrote this message should check out that Red Hat is not Linux, it is a distrobution of linux with applications. Using Linux 2.2.14 would be more suiting
Who cares about what they are doing? I use Gnome now and I love it but KDE will win. With KOffice, Konqueror, KDevelope, and QT being about 10x easier to program than GTK I'm sorry to say but Gnome will lose this one, but yet again, who am I to say anything.
I'm sorry but when a company says "Strong CPU of High Performance" they don't know shit. Just think of a 400Mhz Transmeta handheld running x86 programs.........now who wants a Samsung?
Will 3DFX be included in this mix up or only nvidia because I have only bought a 3dfx card for it's great support under linux. Now that I bought a VooDoo3 card for it's DRI and great XFree Drivers and ability to play games under linux will everything be swept out from under me. I don't think 3dfx is so evil anymore opensourcing their glide and hardware specs and all but the fact they didn't drop their case against creative gives me a sour taste to my mouth.
Intel has, will, and is screwing up. The very popular PIII serial was a good idea, and secure since nobody will EVER be able to change the serial without rebooting (sense the sarcasm). This coppermine bug is good, who needs to boot their system. Well, I would go with AMD if I could just get a board with the word ASUS proudly stamped on the box. Intel is evil about their motherboard and sloppy about their chips, it's about time chipzilla went the way of the dinosaur....
Most artist can't even fill a 72 minute disk, why should we all go out a buy DVD played for 1/10 filled disks? Really, how many double cd's are there out there? DVD Audio is not the way to go, they should use compression (like minidisc that only eliminated sounds not audible to the human ear) and fit more music on our 650-700 meg disks. Change in standard would be hard but if they are gonna do it, that should be the way to go
I always knew those delicious milkyways were sweet, this ain't somin new!
