It's amazing to me that NASA has the foresight to design such a remote update system years before the concept of a "firmware update" was ever applied to consumer technology.
Yeah, I know. It's like the guys are rocket scientists or something.

We're about the same size company, but get around 7k spam messages a day. We use GFI, with spambayes installed on the few clients who get the most spam, and things work great. GFI is fantastic once you get it tweaked to your needs.

If an extremist group claimed that 1 + 1 = 3, would that make math controversial? There is no controversy with the theory of evolution, just a bunch of bizarre propagandists crying about it.

  6. Re:Easy solution: hard copy on Why Your e-Books Are No Longer Yours · · Score: 1

(Something I find extremely interesting is Amazon compares the kindle price to the hard cover list price ($26.95) AND does not link to any other versions of the book, but the hard cover sure does. It seems they are intentionally wanting to give the false sense of "what a deal!" and making it harder to jump to a non-kindle version.) That's simply not true. Look at The God Delusion, for example, and they compare against the list price of the paperback, not the hardcover. The book you picked is only available in hardcover, except on the secondary market (and if you look, one of the ones they list is actually the hardcover). Also, the page for the book you mentioned links to all the other version of the book which are available.

From what I understand, the game consists of waiting to do the same thing over and over again. I think it's some video game version of habitual masturbation.

I loved it up until they survived the helicopter going down. I wished the movie would have ended with the crash.
