  1. Re: Good Job! But live concerts suck.... on Bon Jovi Tries New Approach To Fight Piracy · · Score: 1

I've been to well over 500 concerts in my years and I always carry earplugs.

A decent set that reduces the noise but doesn't totally kill quality can be had for under $5 a pair. It's so worth the effort as almost all decent bands are even better live.

    Just a suggestion.

Sorry, had to reply because I screwed up my mod on this. I must have chosen Redundant when I meant to choose Insightful.

While I agree, what really strikes me is the last part of that. " ... and give them the details to get it fixed"

I guess that means that they eventually tell you when you need to run Windows Update and get the patch that they have finally gotten around to creating.

Until then, good luck. It's not like you can fix it yourself since you are not allowed to see and modify the code.

There are CD-Rs that a few bits are added to that will allow them to be recorded on consumer CD burners such as those by Philips, Pioneer, etc. Those type are much more expensive than average CD-Rs that cannot be written to by those devices.

If you don't have one of those standalone burners and just want to burn CDs on your computer, the special "auido" CD-Rs are not neccessary. However, some of the really cheap CD-Rs can have problems playing on regular CD players though YMMV.

This could be the perfect marketing opportunity for Red Hat. "Red Hat in your red hat." If they could make this thing look a little less obtrusive, people would easily get hooked with the proper ad campaign. Once they are wearing Linux, the next stop would be their desktop as they realize it is much more stable than their Windows machine. Windows CE on your clothes? Think about the doctor bills from all the crashes.
