The Ggradebook (GNU Gradebook) Project is also looking for a new maintainer, since the 17th of November, 2001.
"Lack of free time is causing the current Ggradebook Project maintainer to look for a new maintainer! If you think you're qualified, please send an e-mail to: Ggradebook@users.sourceforge.net. For a maintainer, motivation, enthusiasm and communicative skills are more important than programming skills..."
Come on guys, do you really expect this thing to work? And did you check out the rest of their website? It's made in about one hour, just to make it to Slashdot. Tsss...
Why is the text "A Text File woudl be nice" visible on the main page (which has "score 2, offtopic") and this reply "Re:A Text File woudl be nice" not (even though it is rated "score 3" and is much more interesting)? A flaw in moderation or SlashCode?

Of course they are (the country was a founding member of NATO) and they will support the US wherever necessary. They just recently helped with "Operation Essential Harvest" and played an active role in Bosnia and Kosovo. Read more about the response of the Dutch government to the terror attacks in the US on the website of their Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"Now if only the Belgian police would be so effective at arresting pedophiles..."
There is a difference between normal pedophiles and pedosexual rapists/murderers, you know. People don't choose to be pedophiles, they're born that way. Do you really think anyone different (Jews, gays, pedophiles,...) should be arrested?

Okay, this story by Jesse "How to Add a Year to Your Life" Berst is a bit old, but the question if super-leet-hackers will abandon Red Hat if it becomes too dominant is interesting. If they continue investing in the right things and people, why should we? They made the right choices. The odds between Windows and Red Hat Linux are not that enormous (well... Linux is more stable, fast, flexible, open); it is good to have people working on for example Gnome, if you want world domination fast, that is. And if it all turns out to be worse than we thought... (almost) all their stuff is GPL-ed.

I tried it out on my software packages... and -I does not seem to be totally working. Or is it just me?

XMP is the best Linux (Unix) earcandy... without a doubt. I'll have to choose 'Abstain' here.
