In the US, we list dates in numeric form
as: month-day-year; so Sept. 9th is 9-11.
911 is the national number to dial in case
of an emergency from any telephone in the US.
yea! what a kick ass idea.
I am developing an open-source game and would
love for it to be included in something like
this. (could be really cheap too).
The best way I've seen to learn a program is with a video or a macro program that will walk through common steps. I tried this with 3dstudio max and it was great. If you don't understand a part, either pause the video (on the computer) and mess around with the prog, or rewind it and try again. Granted, IMO 3dsmax has an easier interface to master than blender, but I bet it would work well..

I believe OLED's are being used in the new Motorola Timeport which is already in stores. Though its monochrome, its still an OLED. For a more technical look at OLED,TOLED, etc.: Univeral Display Corp.
I agree you can't "steal" open-source software. But I suspect since sourceforge hosts MANY CVS based projects, that open-source software could be injected with outside code... correct me if I'm wrong, but that seems pretty damn serious.

> 'Why should programs say "Version 2 of the GPL or any later version"?'
Could the FSF add an exception to the GPL at a later date that said something to the effect of: "Microsoft is granted permission to distribute modifications however they chose"?
That would suck...
If its possible, FSF could make tons of money.
I read a great book by Mathew Alper titled:
"The God Part of the Brain"
(right on topic!)
He gives a good scenario for why people perceive
a god. Also interesting is that this "part"
of the brain can be stimulated by certain
drugs to create religous-like experiences.
The main batteries in the Honda Insight (in the back of the car) are NiMH cells @ 140volts. There is a Lead-Acid battery under the hood for the 12volt system. Honda says around 8 year life span for the NiMH cells. I should know, I own one.:)
This article was posted with the Einstein

him, and get him adopted into a nice family.
I saw on "History's Lost and Found" (on the
History channel) that pieces of Einstein's
brain are all over the world. Would it be
possible to clone him?
I see now. So any time frame is already
moving through the 4thD at constant speed.
maybe speed c?
Then because of conservation of momentum,
any movement in 3D causes a slow down of
movement in the 4thD.

> "Houston Texans" (I wonder what kind of genius came up with that name)
They set up a website where people could submit name suggestions. I think a committe selected a few and then had a vote.
Why my suggestion of the "Houston Hooters" wasn't selected... who knows.

on second thought, maybe it's not a good idea for blender. Would be hard to follow the video when blender hogs the whole screen.. :)

It changed for Chinese New Year for instance.

Physics could be a subset of math and satisfy:
"Physics is math".

"but the equations are just not symmetric in space and time"
all equations are created by us to fit
the world that we know.
for example, most Newtonian physics equations
need to be updated to take into account
general relativity.

not HOW time dilates.

disclaimer: I'm no physicist

I came to the same conclusion for why
time dilation occurs.
I always get stuck at: "motion in the
direction of time".
How can you "move" in time?
moving involves time already.
