    as: month-day-year; so Sept. 9th is 9-11.
    911 is the national number to dial in case
    of an emergency from any telephone in the US.

    The best way I've seen to learn a program is with a video or a macro program that will walk through common steps. I tried this with 3dstudio max and it was great. If you don't understand a part, either pause the video (on the computer) and mess around with the prog, or rewind it and try again. Granted, IMO 3dsmax has an easier interface to master than blender, but I bet it would work well..

    I believe OLED's are being used in the new Motorola Timeport which is already in stores. Though its monochrome, its still an OLED. For a more technical look at OLED,TOLED, etc.:
    Univeral Display Corp.

    Check out the Transparent OLEDs!

    I agree you can't "steal" open-source software. But I suspect since sourceforge hosts MANY CVS based projects, that open-source software could be injected with outside code... correct me if I'm wrong, but that seems pretty damn serious.

    Could the FSF add an exception to the GPL at a later date that said something to the effect of: "Microsoft is granted permission to distribute modifications however they chose"?
    That would suck...
    If its possible, FSF could make tons of money.

    I read a great book by Mathew Alper titled:
    "The God Part of the Brain"
    (right on topic!)

    He gives a good scenario for why people perceive
    a god. Also interesting is that this "part"
    of the brain can be stimulated by certain
    drugs to create religous-like experiences.

    The main batteries in the Honda Insight (in the back of the car) are NiMH cells @ 140volts. There is a Lead-Acid battery under the hood for the 12volt system. Honda says around 8 year life span for the NiMH cells. I should know, I own one. :)

    all equations are created by us to fit
    the world that we know.

    for example, most Newtonian physics equations
    need to be updated to take into account
    general relativity.

    Has anyone really explained WHY time dilates?
    not HOW time dilates.

    I see now. So any time frame is already
    moving through the 4thD at constant speed.
    maybe speed c?
    Then because of conservation of momentum,
    any movement in 3D causes a slow down of
    movement in the 4thD.

    Is this correct?
    any physicists out there?

    disclaimer: I'm no physicist

    I came to the same conclusion for why
    time dilation occurs.
    I always get stuck at: "motion in the
    direction of time".

    How can you "move" in time?
    moving involves time already.
