    Ebay currently has a Microsoft type grip on the payment market. It's going to take some serious force to create competition in the online payments market. I don't think this will be the solution.

    Not meant as a joke, but I wish Ebay would have offered home loans. It would have been the one bank I would have been cheering for to be flushed ;P AND YES EBAY IS A BANK... no matter how they skate the law, they are an unregulated bank PERIOD!

    I mean R4 is old hat in terns of flashcards Though still a goodie *I still use mine* it lacks SHDC and In Game Save that newer carts have for just a few dollars more. So the R4 wasn't selling as strong as it did many moons ago. Look for R4 sales to go thru the roof, I am sure they will send Nintendo a thank you card ;)

    That has to be one of the most nasty viruses I ever seen. Poor windows users. Though remember, if your ever asked to download a codec AFTER you installed a codec pack... likely it's malware. Even TV Shows are getting nasty DOWNLOAD THIS CODEC treatments. Pirating use to be such honest work too ;\

    We are reminded of this daily, when some crotchety old CEO or Senator tells us to get off their lawn. Even though we were the ones that fertilized it, moved it, and kept it clean of pests. We the geeks made this *the internet*, and we sold it to the very people we hated growing up. For a shit ton of money yes but still... we sold it bit by bit. So this type of action should not surprise us.

    Now with that said do we really want the government protecting our RIGHTS on the web. If we call them in over some You Tube Videos and Flickr photos, they will be here to stay. Sure it might be AWESOME at first, but Government World Wide has not had a great record as of late when it comes to rights. I would rather just do what we did before...

    Start my own site. Place what I want there, and be the crotchety old fart who tells the CEO's and the Suits, and the politicians to get the FUCK off MY Lawn! This time maybe when they come with the briefcase of cash I can say, no thank you I like this yard. Grass is Green enough here.

    Of going to a Denny's and getting a Classic Midnight Waitress. Getting that Classic 3 am terrible service. Then at the end being told you HAVE to tip. When you argue they point to a little post-it note on the floorboards near the entrance that says, "Buy eating this food you agree to tip no matter what!" While the 2$'s may be an enforceable fee, the opt in somehow I think will not withstand a court challenge.

    Just because it's symmetrical doesn't mean you will get 1:1 Bandwidth. If a Pipe can handle lets say 10 mbit. It can be divided up 5/5 or 9/1. Now if I am ISP that means I can have 5 1/1customers or 9 1/128 kbit customers. Which do you think will make me as an ISP more money?

    I have to think that Big Telco is going to charge a premium rather then discount you. Don't even think for a second the FCC is going to let small telco pop towers down. Unless then have 10 billion to whip out their wallets. This means you still have to rely on the old providers like Sprint with their WiMax project to get the data to you. If you think they are going to price this service CHEAPER then their line service, you may want to think about quitting the pipe.

    I see base WiMax starting at 69.99 (for like 3/768 unlimited data). Then again this is all just complete guess work until someone rolls it out and say this will cost $xx.x
