The only way to blow up a nuclear power plant is to pack it full of TNT, or to have potential hazardous tests run on a faultily designed reactor by a 3rd shift coal plant team of rejects.
FIXED! Happy?
The last time we asked casino owners to PONY UP to help with a traffic issue. We got the Debacle that is the corner of Flamingo and Las Vegas Boulevard Pedestrian Walkway. Dear Lord. Then we could talk about the Monorail, but I don't wanna piss my pants.
Vegas does have the Monorail *giggles a bit at tax dollars wasted*
Outside of that I have no Idea. The Cat *Vegas Bus System* is HORRIBLE! So I guess you have a point too;) Though people could always take a Cab *Vegas is second in the USA to New York for Cabs* though that would defeat SOME of the purpose.
I am a big fan of the Nano. I think it has potential to be huge if it lives up to 1/2 of it's claims. I always cried thinking I would need to use the Chroma crap that Via Integrates. Nvidia Graphics on a Nano platform. Tiny little gaming boxes and notebooks. Dear lord, its nerd heaven! Media centers for the poor! I am buzzing with glee just thinking the possibilities. KUDOS!
In the days of Penny Gas and a less popular Vegas. Way more families now travel out to Vegas and with gas topping 4$ / gal and Airport Security being nothing fun... yeah it is time.
I lived in Vegas 7 years. They NEED This. Even the expansion to 6 lanes between the cities was not enough. We are talking 400KM+ Of cars taillight to tailpipe on any given weekend!
It's even a crazier route then VA to Washington DC.
This update when applied correctly *see favorite hackintosh site for details* kills OpenGL/CI/QE if you using NVInject. EFI String Folks seem to be ok.
Realistically the Hatch Act is often used by bosses who want to cut dead weight *or weight they don't like*. If your in good with the boss and your views mix with his, then happy blogging.
I would have no issue with this, if the rules were applied evenly across everyone. The reality is that it isn't. Just like many other Acts and Rules it is simply applied as a tool by higher ups to get what they want.
Should the guy have gotten busted, YES! He broke the rules. I don't disagree with that. Is the rules being applied evenly across the line... Left and Right... Upper Management and Lower Peons? Nope.
I would love to know what side this guy was on. If he was working Elephant or Donkey. Maybe someone knows? *Not that matters either way. Both Republicans and Democrats can be dickheads when they want to*;)
I agree with this report. In short it explains that Wii fit is good if you need motivation to get off the couch. It is not for those who pull themselves outside or goto the gym and get physical already. It's target group though is over 50% of Americans... and a heavily growing European segment.
but I will wait for the VIA Isaiah version. Then it will be a pretty killer platform *if the chip lives up to the hype*
Personally I am loving this. The competition is going to keep raising the bar and the consumer wins! I just hope we can get back down in the 300$ price range eventually. These things are getting expensive;\
The taskbar shows Cedega Running. So it was not enough to just LOOK like windows 95 that just came stumbling home after a 48 hour bender... but it needed to run actual windows apps too?;)
Web 2.0 is gonna be better then Web 1.0 Just like Vista was WAY WAY better then Windows XP!
Though I mean common seriously, this stuff is getting a bit dicey. Web 2.0 isn't really even a standard of OTHER standards. It's a term for how much java, shockwave, and ads you cam JAM INTO A WEBSITE!
What Web 2.0 means for hardware, is that a bunch of companies late to taking in the $$$ from Web 1.0 are gonna not miss the next gravy train. Overselling to data centers a rack of watercooled 128 core.5U servers, for what can be done on a modified Xbox.
Then again thats just my opinion.
P.S. Don't mod troll me, I am fragile like an IPO for a search engine.
We need protection though from other forms of medical discrimination. Banning the Archaic BMI would be a good start. Limiting pre-existing conditions.
Its amazing the things that will still get you disqualified. A yeast infection and even too many pimples as a kid... More needs to be done.
I will take this small victory though.
Actually it's now EASIER these days to get what you want online LEGAL or NON LEGAL. Killing napster just made people find new and creative ways to juke the system. Napster made way for Morpheous. Morpheous made way for Kaaza. Then new technologies like *some based on old* Like limewire and bit torrent came about. Then came rapid share *groans* and all it's cousins. Not to mention technologies like Hotline and IRC trading. When Supernova was shut down that was the DEATH OF TORRENTS. Yet look what we have now. There is always someone willing to step up. It's never going to go away. The best way to curb it is thru using technologies for better legal distribution. Set a fair price for your product. Then let the public pay. Look at Itunes and even Amazon now.
The groundwork was laid the first time one person handed another person a floppy to make a copy. Online distribution made way the first WAREZ BBS came to be. I just wish they could accept this. They never will. As long as CEO's see this as LOST MONEY instead of, they were never going to pay in the first place. I am sure the actual losses *People who would have paid but didn't* are something like a percent of a percent of the Statistics tossed out by the MPAA, RIAA, and every software company on the planet.
Let me show you an example... RETAIL STORES. They know shrink is part of the game. They do everything reasonable they can to stop it. Failing to stop it, doesn't cause them to strip search the patrons. It's written off every quarter at inventory.
In closing *because this is becoming rambling* Yes it's stealing, yes it's wrong, and yes I am as guilty of doing it as EVERYONE of you. If I was them I would be pissed too. Though I would take my lumps and do the most sane things to stop it. Learn to live with some loss. Then live happy on my big damn pile of money.
20$ I say split it 10 FreeBSD and 10 KDE. If more then you can add evenly to each project and then start deferring to each project that you find useful. I would recommend nothing under 5$ to keep things simpler.
A small while ago I had an occasion where a friend was giving me a lift *don't worry he got the OK from his company first* as I thought it would be a fun experience to go on a run. I was expecting some run down, greasy, loud U-haul type experience. I was blown away by his Modern Machine. It was Swankier the my damn apartment.
He had a Built in computer with LCD in the sleeper.
High Speed Internet
A HIdeaway full shower.
A mini drink fridge.
A GPS System
Hands Free Cell hooked up to his stereo
2 Reverse Cameras
20 Inch DVD Entertainment system with Xbox 360
ect... ect...
This doesn't even include the major Job enhancing features he pointed out. They have some sort of wireless system where Weigh Stations are not even needed anymore. His dash has a little blinking light to let him know he can drive right past. The downside was some sort of "Tattler" that over the internet was sending all sorts of info to his company. It had a little screen that showed when he had to stop. He hated the damn thing. It even did all his logging for him, but somehow he said it was a bad thing.

Then I wonder if one of the Character Examples is LEROY JEEEEENNNKIIIINS!

Umm western union checks ID's on ANY amount... at least in Holland.
The Old Ones were In Order. Everything In Order and checked!
The New ones you buy Already Out-Of-Order. It saves you the trouble of breaking it yourself.

I will wait for Street Fighter IV : The New Warriors Turbo Championship Strike!
Give them some time to fine tune the FUN!
Is it going to be Microsoft TV Tray?
Isolinear chips are right around the corner. All you early adopters are gonna feel silly!
when he started using names like...
Haywood Jablome
Connie Lingus
Dick Trickle
Seymour Butts
Hugh Jass
Ben Dover
Should of used a better name generator.

If it's yellow let it mellow. If it's brown, flush it down.
The astronauts can still do this. No emergency yet!
