hook up a non-functioning camera to the rear of my Jeep. I can see out the back just fine, and unless they make a waterproof screen to mount on my dashboard, it won't last too long anyway.
I may read it at that; I do read a lot of anthropology. I would hope that comparison is fair though. Do both include combat, as in war-time deaths? I don't doubt tribe on tribe violence was bad, it's just that our modern forms of warfare are probably just as lethal if not more so.
I'm not convinced about the "ever in human existence" part. Primitive hunter gather tribes were probably very peaceful, since everyone knows everyone. Arguments, fights, displays of manhood, etc yes but high murder rates? I'd like some evidence to back that up.
I think Indiana Jones was only immortal while he was in that temple. In the Young Indiana Jones serial in the '80s, he was depicted with...OMG I'm such a dork.
How do you manage to catch a baseball when the earth is orbiting so fast, the solar system is moving through the galaxy so fast, the galaxy is moving so fast, the universe is expanding, etc?
And let's not forget we have more forest here in north america
More than what? North America has less than 9% of the original old growth forest it had before mankind landed here. And the land being used for lumber and pulping is being degraded, so that they have to move on to other forest areas over time. Heaven forbid someone point out the dangerous and destructive practices that are destroying our world at an alarming and increasing rate. Let's just call them a special interest group and keep plowing on.
I think you've confused reality with the plot of 1984. We actually do have enemies and threats, though I do not personally categorize Anonymous that way.
I'm skeptical Apple will stop its lawsuits. Samsung has plenty of patents, and yet they go back and forth. I'm with on the hardware part. I'd love to see Google/Moto fight it out with Apple with some kickass tablets and phones running Jelly Bean or Krispy Kreme, or whatever those letters end up being.
The part about misspelling 2 words in one sentence right after you said you were good at typing. Or are predit and confort just words I've never heard of?
Bosch, I've flown one one side of the galaxy to the other and I've never seen anything that led me to believe there's some all powerful force controlling everything. It's all a bunch of simple tricks and nonsense.
The slashdot editors were probably just reading an alien cookbook and got confused.
I give up. What did they invent numbers for?
Nice sig, btw.
And, miraculously, I've never run over a child, Oompa Loompa, penguin, or anything else for that mattter.

Badges?
We don't need no stinkin' badges!
I have enough lock-in in my life already!
Married too, huh?
Shouldn't they expect a mazimum?
Yes.

And RIM is watching Windows Phone 7 through binoculars from 2 miles away.

Sorry, took a while to get a signal.
Chotchkie's.
Yeah, I did a double-take on that one too. Thought it said naggers. God, I hate naggers.

Swiftkey's ability to predit "awsqhyhuqi" as "confort" is astounding (:
Was that supposed to be funny? Or are you just not as good at typing as you thought?

When the Jedi are outlawed, only outlaw Jedis will have lightsabers.
