Yes they did, but they didn't force you to use them, and they didn't make it harder for you to use other services nor did they hid the results concerning other services.
Lets not name some other company who made it difficult for others to install certain browsers on their OS, and kind of forced you to use their own browser.
Good is kind of the equivalent of you going to the only supermarket in the country and when you ask them about coffee they first thing they state is their own coffee but followed by every other brand.
I am sorry but that's not abusing a monopoly.
Actually I disagree, while I do believe that US wants him to be extradited to their jurisdiction. However, there is something that is bugging me, why go through all that trouble ?
I mean he has to go through a lengthy process just to be sent to Sweden where he will be interrogated and might face charges of rape ( I am not arguing the validity of those charges ) and go to prison, and after he finishes his term then and only then the US might ask from "SWEDEN" for him to be extradited, and will take time. If they want him that bad why not kidnap him ( I know I know, not that easy and huge backlash if they do) ?
Why go through all of that ? Why not ask that from the UK immediately, I have a feeling that they will be more than happy to hand him over.
They might be playing the time card, that if enough time passes he will be irrelevant and when he does get extradited to the US little or no opposition will form. But it nullifies the whole idea, if he is irrelevant then it doesn't matter if they get him or not unless its a behavior of a vindictive asshole, then forget what I said.
4chan represents human nature! Well a certain aspect of it. It is just a place where thoughts that were concealed and buried away comes to life. But it is human!
Has nothing to do with age. I had my first PC when I was 16. First computer course in school was at 17 ( no programming just basic stuff ).
I officially started coding during my second year of university, I was 19!
But if I ever knew it existed when I was younger and had access to a PC I would have coded at that age.
Some people simply don't have access or don't know!
But evolution and climate change are different in that one is rejected for theological reasons and the other for economical reasons. If we neglect that both arguments are false for a second, it is extremely more difficult to change the opinion of the population when whatever you are presenting is in conflict with religion, same example again! Flat earth or that earth turns around the sun and not vice versa, it took more then a century to turn people around. But when it comes to economical reasons I don't think it will take a huge amount of time, whether people do or do not remember how the weather was ten years ago, at one point ( and it is unfortunate because it might be too late) it will be economically very bad to ignore climate change and the skeptics will be silenced ( more or less voluntarily ). Now I might be wrong on the economical assumption of climate change, but I guess that's how I see it. Unless you have a different perspective!
I agree, people who don't want to believe ( for whatever the reason might be ) will always find a new one. But nevertheless this is a good news.
But I have a question here, there is limits to how far people would go right ? I mean there is still people who believes that earth is flat but it's a minority and a minority that can't influence politics. Could it be we are approaching a time where climate-change would be in the same situation ? ( I am pretty sure evolution is far from this ).
Ps, I am referring to the USA. Because as far as I can see, people here in Europe seem to be more accepting of climate-change, but less enthusiastic about it.
Didn't read the article. But doesn't depend on what he was advertising ?
If at no point he said or insinuated that he is an expert, there shouldn't be any problem, right ?
Can't he just move the hosting of his site to another provider ( one that is outside of the US ) and then tell them to go fuck themselves ?
Oh wait, I am talking about the US, how silly of me!
But seriously, wouldn't that solve it ?
And you forgot scientific programs as well. In our collaboration most of the Monte Carlo simulators were written in FORTRAN, which is not bad, but the problem is finding someone who knows FORTRAN to maintain them. And only recently we have moved to C ( last couple of years). However I noticed that most scientists below the age of 35 use C. Python is used, but only for scripting purpouses ( as it should ).
Ps, my domain is astrophysics/astroparticles.
He got a million in 12 days, how is is not gaining money ? Wait I get it, he sould have made 20 million 19.99 of them goes to them and he only get 10000$ ??
Ok sorry apparently I don't know much about buisness...
I would agree, I am french educated and I have a perfect french(more or less), and been living here in France for the last 4 years. I can't say I ever heard something worth it.
Long live classic rock!
It is in the nature of the fight itself. Anyone anywhere can come up with a way ( if smart and motivated enough) to hack anything anywhere, it is completely different from invading another country or defending your own. Individuals can't be suppressed the way you subdue hostile forces.
The matter is unless you install a spy cam inside the brains of everyone I don't see how the hacking war can be won. ( and even in this case someone would hack it ! )
I wish you are not being sarcastic, because if you were that's the most disgusting thing I ever heard. This is the equivalent of saying: Liberating the slaves is a bad idea, because their former masters would not hire them!
Go #$%&^ YOURSELF, what kind of morals is that???

I'll the give them the same trust I give a man who can cross his legs with ease!

So getting killed for not encrypting your files is the new punishment ? God those IT admins are angry!
No no no, you don't get it. It is opposite day today!

But only for evil!
Damn you do gooders! Can't a scientist invent a death ray and enjoy it!
I disagree, the deathray is kind of a no brainer!

I was being sarcastic. Since many ( but not all ) religious people would have told him instead to go burn in hell.
May Allah/God/Buddha bless you son.

Microsoft: Challenge accepted!
Please explain.

I suppose he is referring to immigrants that came from around the world to Palestine. Aka non-arab jews.
One time I used an anecdotal evidence and it worked, doesn't it count ?
