    You're getting way ahead of yourself; raytracing won't even begin to really matter until VR has maxed-out raster-based rendering at 8k x 8k per eye with a super-high refresh rate. It's a long way off.

    There's actually very little reason to listen to most doctors, since they possess lots of knowledge yet understand so little. Then again, a standard medical education is nothing more than a huge flowchart.

    As corrupt and inhumane as the U.S. "justice" system is, I'm willing to bet that's it's still better than anywhere other than Europe, Canada/OZ/NZ, Japan and Korean. Obviously nothing to brag about, however...

  15. I had the same situation in 1989, C+ average in high school but 99%ile test scores. I actually had a hard time getting good schools to listen to me.

    '91 here; highschool GPA of 1.7 and 99% SAT scores, both math and verbal; I got into every school I applied to: three decent state schools and one* of the two most elite [and worthless] liberal arts colleges in the nation...

    Fair point but the fact is we're not going to turn illiterate motherfuckers into literate motherfuckers by relaxing the standards. At the end of the day, this is more bullshit like "No Child Allowed Ahead" or whatever it's called.

    You can't opt out of having a radio-linked tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on any new car purchased in 2008 or later.

    RIght:

    A) Buy replacement wheels (they don't come with TPMS sensors) and tires.

    B) Mount on vehicle.
