    They aren't even in the top ten.

    In terms of being entrenched, obsolete behemoths, indeed they aren't. But they're #1 in terms of delta-v and the dumbass shorts should've paid a lot more attention not to what Tesla's competition have said but rather what they've done, which is announce the automotive equivalent of non-existent 5GHz processors.

    What actually ends up happening when UberX/XL surges is that people either wait or become more willing to upgrade to Black/SUV (aka "UberLux" elsewhere), which surges far less often.

    Not arguing with you; there's no question whether increased quantities of CO2 have caused atmospheric warming... but would this necessarily lead to average ocean temps rising? Acidification, sure... but I was under the impression that one of the bigger, immediate ramifications of global warming was ocean cooling - and the resulting chance in currents - caused by melting glaciers/icecaps. Take that with a grain of salt; I'm well out of my area...
