As soon as the dumb ass managers at my company can actually check their e-mail (without saying, "hey e-mail is slow"), let alone administer their own systems, I will gladly bow down to them and find a job at burger king..
I'm saying what is true..if you acutally took the time to look at the situation you would see this is what is happening, slowely, but surely! Please don't put me down for your own ignorance.
Why is it a bad thing to not want your server to be under control? In my personal experiance Slackware lends itself to be way more stable that other distros.
One other thing I would like to point out. When I was starting out with linux I picked RedHat to install first. I slamed the disks in and BOOM it was install, X was working and I could even dialup to my ISP. But wait something was missing, I had learned nothing....So I dropped RedHat and started with Slackware. I dedicate everything I know about linux to Slackware in the beginning.
I just wanted to point out that Ericsson also has tools like this avalible. I don't know how they compair, but they can be found here. http://www.ericsson.com/developerzone
