Half the population by definition has to be of below average intelligence.
Maybe I will prove myself to be in the lower half, and not being a mathematician myself, I was lead to believe that the average was the sum of scores divided by the number of samples. Because of this, an extraordinarily high score, or extraordinarily low score (or cluster of scores in a region) will skew this:
Scores 120 130 50 280 75
This averages to 131. In my sample above, all but the highest score is below the average.
I was reading this guys post and looking for the "Hard Way" around the precautions put in place by the ISP. . Still looking, or do I need to do a google translate search of the page to find it?
Can anyone venture a plausible reason why they couldn't have sent my son through with my wife, and then just scanned them individually in the event that the detector went off?
The problem with your question is that by asking it, you are showing signs of common sense, reasoning and at least human level intelligence.
I always found it Funny that the Americans mock the rest of the worlds money as being "Monopoly money"
In most other countries I know, the differnt colours and slighty different sizes for their bank notes would stop such a con before it was ever attempted
and there we have it. . . Mean, Median and Mode.
I always thought that average = mean, and that median and mode were two other entities as opposed to other types of average. .
Time to go back to school and pay attention this time.

And add NZ Governement Departments.
One of our issues stopping a company wide upgrade is other software that has dependancies on IE6 that just aren't stable with 8.
We have the same issue with upgrading office from beyond 2003 (so thankfully our IS department is yet to get the screams of "I hate this ribbon")
(fun fact: blocking any page including the characters "xxx" makes it *really* hard to write a paper on Roman Numerals)
XXX is what I would rate this article on a scale of I to C

I think it was the wool. It created too much fuzzy logic within the chips.
I had some Ram that did that once. Placed it in one PC and I had an unstable system constantly crashing.
take it out and put it in another box. Both machines running perfectly.

The TSA runs counter to all of these things.
Back in the days Sierra Games were Top of the Line in graphics.
Now I wont deny that the sierra games were fun, but graphically they were anything but top of the line. I do say this with Fond amiga memories though.

From TFA:
"Unless Sony can get other companies to make and sell ODA drives, though, it will probably just go the way of the MiniDisc."
Hugely popular in Asia?
Kind of like level 1 and 2 tech support
Splitters!
Does that make me uncool and out-of-touch?
Or am I just concerned that this is front page news?
so we can get rid of the kayfabe .
Shhh Dont mention those terms around here, you will be blammed for bringing down the quality of the SyFy channel.
. . in the hstory of Slashdot. .
Agreed!
I am a die hard amiga lover. Up until a few years ago, I held onto hope that Amiga could once again be a player. . but this is NOT Amiga!
The problem is, by bypassing the "feature" you are still paying for it, which will encourage Samgsung and other TV makers to continue to inculde it.
ARTILLERYMAN: We're gonna build a whole new world for ourselves. Look, they
clap eyes on us and we're dead, right?
So we gotta make a new life where they'll never find us. You know where?
Underground.
This is not a general bash US sentiment. . I just dont like their money :)
Oh and the coin sizes. .
Sequential coin sizes. As the face value of the coin rises, so too does the size of the coin. Another thing the US is lacking.

Is someone advocating for MORE lawyers?
Sometimes it is necessary to contact them for insurance purposes.
After all, how are you going to prove to the insurance company that your car was stolen?
Go on, pull the other one. .:)
..and here I was thinkign that having to deal with iTunes was taxing enough
