Then when I come home, I just playback whatever I missed from last night (primetime) or while at work (mostly movies and international programs). ~40 channels free of charge.

I just heard on the radio today that cops arrested some Maryland Libertarians who were trying to collect signatures to appear on the state ballot. The LP members were asked to stop, and then when one of them whipped out a camera to document the unconstitutional limitation (the MD SC already ruled in favor of ACORN that petitioning is legal), the cops arrested them for assault.

This is the second time. About two weeks ago a motorcyclist with a helmet cam was arrested when he posted a traffic stop on youtube. The cop had pulled a gun on the citizen w/o identifying himself AS a cop (he was plain clothes), and then the Police Bureau arrested the man after the Chief saw the video online. It seems Maryland is turning into a tyranny.

Yeah I too noticed that amazon (US) packaging went downhill. Or if the book is shrinkwrapped, they are careless and bend a corner. I've been giving Amazon "1 star" on their packaging feedback.

    As for brick stores:
    - Last year when the economy was dumping, I was able to get some really good deals from JCPenney like $11 Arizona jeans, $5 sweaters, and $15 Rockports. BUT for the most part shopping in a brick store is a waste of cash. You waste money on gasoline, you waste time on traveling there, and the prices are almost double the same price on Amazon.com or Ebay.com.

This year I spent about $200 on christmas presents (videogames) ALL online, and all finished in just one day (sunday). Plus average cost was just $11-12 per game.
