I assume you are talking about the e2xx series. The battery is very easy to replace. The replacement kit even comes with instructions and a screw driver. Only costs $20.

Both my wife and I have e2xx series players. We love them. One of the big draws was the replaceable battery for $20.
I agree that Vista uses a lot of system resources. But that makes me wonder why OEMs will let you buy a substandard system with Vista? If it doesn't run it well, don't sell it. Oh wait...I was assuming they valued quality.
Also keep in mind that the idea of a concert setup was mentioned for this system. While DSP can do this (not at 100% though), most concerts would just send the input from the various singers' mics to difference speakers to create this separation effect as originally described.
Of course, if you're just lip-syncing, then DSP is for you!

More specifically, I think they posted a bunch of bogus entries to the contest. Wow. So original and daring. We should just quit the internet now.

Troll? I thought that was pretty funny. Have you ever tried to use SMTP commands directly through telnet? Craziness!

Wait...why don't you have it with you already? NEVER forget your towel.
Of course, a towel provides effective IRdA security.
Never forget your towel!
I'll get off your lawn when I'm done digging point-to-point fiber from my house to my favorite websites. Forget DNS, I'm building my own internet.
I knew there was a better reason why the IBM model M keyboards are so beloved.
