Fascist is really only corporatis, and as long as I can use that to my advantage, it's not a problem, of-course big corporations colluding together with any form of government has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with corruption, you can't argue that Canadian Liberals were not in bed with corporations any more than I can deny that Conservatives are.

You go ahead, and believe that a political system has any meaning in the world where the power wants money and money wants power, so any government will cater to corporations and corporations want to control the government. Is the universe infinite? If so, how can it be studied mathematically?

    - sorry, dude, you didn't figure out why you can't divide by zero.

It's simpler than that and it does not involve infinity.

In order to divide 5 by 0 it should be possible to add a number of 0s together to get 5. Unfortunately 0+0 is not greater than 0, so there is no infinite number of 0s that can be added together to get 5. There is no number of 0s that you can add together to make a number greater than 0. I loved programming since a very young age and did it on paper before even having access to a computer, so when I applied to a few universities it was only because it probably was expected that I should do so. By the end of the first year I got a job putting bills online for a telco site, just a bit over minimum wage, but I only was able to land that position because I was at the university (there were about 60 people trying to get that position and the reason I got it was only because I came to the interview with a magazine, sharing my excitement over some new development in an Intel CPU with the interviewer).

Now I gave some thought - did it really matter, going to a university, would it have been different if I just took vocational training? The answer is yes. It was a correct decision going with a university even though it was so expensive (I paid for all tuition, living, books myself by working all the way through the 5 years, which I did instead of 4, because I decided to go slower but around the year, summer and all.)

It was better for me - I was already able to code in more than one language, I built my own software similar to lotus/excel without ever even seeing something like that before in my life. Built games, word processors, tools, drivers etc. for myself just because it was interesting. So from point of view of a trade I could do it without any further training.

However the university gave me something I didn't have: 1. Doing things I didn't like anyway while under stress (all of those extra courses that TFA is complaining about). 2. Finding out about the math of the subject, which I would not have otherwise done myself, because it's not that crazy fun (for me at least), but since I had to pay for my education I had no choice but to do what was needed or lose the money with nothing to show for it. 3. I got myself 2 educations to get the B.Sc. , a major and a minor, and my minor was actually interesting to me as well - astronomy. 4. I was forced to study all by myself, while my university has a good enough reputation, it's not a school where you are just given stuff to do and you are good as long as you do it. There we had to push ourselves, the profs really hated teaching and most were terrible at it, while the exams were a bitch.

It was worth it, would do again if given a choice but would definitely change a few things, like not trying to overload myself that much in the first year, there should be time for some fun while doing all that.

For ten years he worked in the force with very little (truly impossibly little pay), his wife makes twice his salary actually.

He is expecting his first kid and he cannot get any promotion legally, the promotion he got was for putting an innocent person to jail.

He is forced to work 30 days a week, morning to dawn. He is expected to have a minimum number of 'crimes' solved and a minimum number of people accused to be allowed to leave home early, if he does not, he is forced to work weekends and extra hours.

Said he lost 2 wives this way so far.

Said that this year for the first time he got sick (sounded pretty bad actually), that he needs medical attention, but when he came to a clinic, the doctors turned him away, because for some reason they have an 'understanding' with his top brass that they are not supposed to treat the cops, I don't get it.

Said that he complained about the doctor, was told that the doctor was punished, but unofficially his commandment forced him to go apologize to the doctor, who has close personal ties to some of the higher ranks in the force.

Said that he is supposed to find himself 'kalym' (illegally obtained money from covering for crimes and just covering business against being destroyed) to supplement his miserly income. ...

Sounded to me like he was fine putting innocent people to jail and earning illegal income until it hit him too close to home.

I am not sure about 'ethics', I think it's just the guy is cornered.

Apparently now some more current and ex-cops are doing the same thing in Russia.
