    AFAIK, that's exactly what google is currently doing.

    I would say a lot of it comes from the Belgian's relation to alcohol, and their willingness to drive after drinking.
    My boss had a car accident after some heavy drinking, and the cops didn't even make him take an alcohol test, even though it was QUITE obvious he was drunk. (I should know, I got to drive him home...)
    Where I'm from (France) he would have spent the night in the drunk tank, and would probably have come very close to losing his license...

    Also, the facts that all the roads are in VERY poor conditions doesn't help. When you drive in a huge pothole at 140km/h, you will probably feel like you're flying... Right before you hit the trees.

    Yeah, but no.

    If you've ever driven here in Belgium, you might have noticed that ALL roads are crappy. From highways to small roads, there are holes everywhere.

    I'm very much interested in replacement to Group policies in Linux/unix.

    At work, I'm pushing for less >indows and more Linux, but as said above, groups policies are still a must for us.

    HADOPI doesn't really compare. It's strictly a 3 strikes law, with a single company monitoring p2p traffic (mostly interrogating torrent trackers), aimed against private file sharer.

    It's evil, but definitely not in the same league as SOPA.

    no, they shouldn't disband themselves, but they should stop pouring money down projects with no future.

    What happened the courier tablet? Or the Kin phone?

    They are making more money off the android patent trolling than they are of windows phone...

    And I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Bing lost around 5 BILLIONS since its creations.

    The touchpad only sold well because of the fire sale, when HP sold it at a huge loss...

    I was in that bookstore last saturday, it's a great place. The only downside (for me) is that they obviously mostly have books in Dutch, which I don't read.

    Lagarde is also the politician who has been involved in a huge scandal over offering french troops to Tunisia's ousted dictator Ben Ali to suppress demonstrations.

    Actually, it was not her, it was Michèle Alliot-Marie who offered French "expertise" to the Tunisian government. Both are french, women, and politicians, but that's all they have in common.
