Maybe you should be worrying about all your customers data floating around random laptops...
Directly put your customers data on big boxes at the office... let people remote desktop in and work. No longer will you have a backup problem for laptops - nor a security problem.
His Visa expired... RTFA!!!! It expired when he was caught - probably the main reason he was grabbed in the first place. Do we now give him a trendy apartment in New York while he applies for asylum? Maybe we can get him a season pass to Disneyland while we are at it?
It was HIS choice to wait for his Visa to expire without renewing or applying for asylum. Why is it our problem his own country will torture/kill him when he didn't bother to apply for asylum when here legaly? Oh wait - it is our problem - the fact we spent the time to arrange for an asylum hearing (and give him a place to live in jail) at all says what softies we really are...
Hey dumbass... maybe you'd like to RTFA from yahoo....
He was going to be deported for being in the country illegaly - but they "kept him in custody in Buffalo while he appealed a deportation order and renewed his quest for asylum based on a claim that, as a military deserter, he would tortured or killed if he returned to Algeria."
Next time they should just deport without an appeal? While waiting for his asylum hearing he was jailed - as he had no Visa... makes sense to me
While waiting (still) for his asylum request with the U.S., "U.S. officials agreed to release Benatta after the Canadian Consulate General's office in Buffalo granted him temporary residency, according to court papers filed Wednesday in New York". So now he is Canada's problem.:P
They will begin testing the Crew Exploration Vehicle in 2008, and will start using it by 2010 if it is ready. 2014 is the deadline to get it ready and doing maned missions. The old shuttle fleet may be used thru 2014 if the new one is not ready.
ISS is supposed to be done by 2010 and moon base in 2015.
The bummer part is redirecting 11 billion of the current budget todo this. That means about 6-10 other missions will be canceled. Maybe it will be the Hubble space telescope replacement JWST.:(
This is not "the first *real* case of the GPL/BSD type licenses" as the two licenses are totally different. GPL is more restrictive.
With a BSD license I can take the code, modify it, and sell binaries without providing source EVER.
With the GPL I can take the source, modify it, and sell binaries. BUT I'll have to give up the source to anyone who asks for the source. I can only charge, at best, the cost of providing the source ($10 ship/handling).
Maybe it's good reason all the tech jobs are going overseas. At least in India/Russia they have the freedom to post security related software without going to jail...
Don't think so....

This is unlikly. The avarage X user (hell even the KDE fanactics) won't want to give up all the nice features of an X server. Who wants to use only QT applications? That cuts out most commerical software for linux, and most OSS.
This is most likely to help TrollTech in the embedded space.
You need to look at the correct table on page 117 of the OMB. Look at "Total" under "As Percentages of GDP". The directions for reading the budget correctly are on page 5 under "Deficits and Debt".
It's not 68%... it will peak 36.9% in 2004, 2005, and 2006.
Sounds like he has had much better results then I do with Google's wireless in Mountain View.
I've lived at 3 different places in Mountain View, Google's free wifi is complete garbage.

I find that very unlikely, $450 million is chump change compared to the Federal budget...
After reading your posts in this thread I have found you to be a retard. :)
Why would I want cable HDTV when over-the-air HDTV is Free (as in beer)???
HBO? Cinemax? Discover? INHD? FOX Sports? There is a huge list of premium HD content.
None of those are over the air.
I don't wear a shirt you insensitive clod!
They call that a push? More like a tap.... Let me give it a push and that thing will be on the ground. :P
You will never fly again because you have to check luggage?
You'd rather drive 11 hours then wait 15mins to an hour to deal with checked luggage? You have to be retarded.
Don't be stupid.
cry me a river you lazy hippie! :D

His "due process" worked out just as it should.

I'm sure they will add stuff that makes sense as well!
How much does microsoft pay per year for your soul?
You are a moron.
You pay the fine and get the money back when you win the case.
Just like a traffic ticket. This is basic law. Try taking a simple "Business Law" class at your local community college.
By that logic the half drunk liter of Vodka in my car after a crash is "self-incrimination" and should not be used?
Give me a break moron...
What the hell are you talking about?!?
Havn't you seen "The Sheild" ?

Try reading the licenses sometime.
Or if your a gentoo user type this as root:
;)
emerge mplayer
Then your all done.
Sheesh, You'd think He's just buy a car that doesn't ever break down... Like any Toyota or Handa....
He's basically driving a "Van" around filled up with parts to keep it going!

Don't you need to take a dump to backup? :)
;)
man dump
props to billy, jp, and steve
