    I take issue with your choice of the word `is`. You should have said something like `appears to me to be` instead, which would have made clearer the impermanent and unimportant nature of your (anyones - not being rude) opinion.

    Yeah, they drive worse, crash into things more, get involved in stupid macho shit which female drivers (on the whole) don`t do. They are just responsible for many more claims.

    Men get paid more than women too.

    Actually, what you describe is happening in reverse - the above is what most libraries are full of now. The computer sections of a lot of libraries have `graphics programming for the acorn electron` etc :(

    No, the publishers get the money. The author gets 2p, not sure what the publisher gets actually.

    Yes, borrowing books here is free, cds and other things cost up to 2 pounds, reserving is usually the cost of a stamp, but can be up to 1 pound.

    You can actually order stuff (including cds) that isnt in stock, though i believe theres a block on them getting anything in the first six months of release. It all depends on the local council though.

    Minidisk allows you to stop recording your cds onto cheap magnetic media, with a neglible loss of quality, and instead record cds onto an expensive magnetic medium, with neglible loss of quality.
    Its quite literally a breakthrough in making profit out of stupid people... eh, i mean... a step towards the audio of tomorrow.

    And then, right, check this - they`ll put markers in certain frequencies when you are playing it on approved speakers, then they can drive around with microphones on vans and listen out for music, then listen for the markers - if they`re not present then you have `illegal` music, and you`ll get arrested and they`ll brainwash you and put a microchip in your brain just like David Icke says.
    No wait, they wont need vans and shit cos - get this - they`ll *just know*. Thats right, they`ll just know because they`ve already microchipped *everybody* - even you - and the chips will transmit back to the big spy satellite thats *watching everyone* all that the chippee sees and hears. So they`ll just know. They know you`re reading this, right now!! Spooky!
