The amiga was used in the u.k. by a *lot* of dance music creators. You get 2 amigas, 2 copies of med/soundtracker and you get 4 channels of stereo sound. Aphrodite/urban shakedown/meat beat manifesto.... i could go on.
There is always the possibility that windows DOES suck more than Linux, and that many people here come here precisely because this is a good place to find out about linux related issues, which are ignored elsewhere precisely because of Microsoft apologists such as yourself.
:) Reminds me of the days when some sad nerds claimed that the amiga (68000 @ 7.1 mhz, excellent audio/visual hardware) was not as good as the st (68000 @ 8 mzh, no hardware/software), despite the fact that there was nothing the st could do that the amiga couldnt.
