According to Scott McCloud, in his book REINVENTING COMICS, an ADULT COMIC BOOK is one for adults but not necessarily one with sex, nudity, violence!!!!
I've got myself a Toshiba keyboard. Not those internet keyboards - which give problems (even their drivers are not too good and tend to crash Windows). What I don't like about it is the key placement which doesn't map to a UK or US or any keyboard layout (it has euro, pound and dollar symbols for instance). I had to download a utility to create a custom keyboard layout. Crazy but true.
I disagree - it might be the case that they're just waiting to take the site over and then remove him from it completely. It's been done before even when agreements have been involved.
Perhaps you can post a request on your site with information on donations for the alumni.
I buy used CD's and DVD's from Digital Dog Pound - great service and cheaper prices...
For instance: I got a NEW (unused but returned to the supplier or whatever) DVD of Spiderman Widescreen special edition at $12 approximately (half the price on Amazon). An older (used once) DVD of an old Jackie Chan movie for $4.
It doesn't need the mass because of the hydrogen elements in the air which are susceptible to a fission reaction. That could jumpstart a fusion reaction, according to the paper linked above which you did not read.
We will see on Independence Day (Sep 21) what happens, won't we..
It would have been too expensive for me to create a print-based comic book, besides the fact that there is no comic book market in Malta. No comics at all are sold here except for some 'superman adventures' in just about 2 stores all over malta. There's a weekly or monthly book with a comic strip page for kids but you couldn't say it's too good, funny or interesting. It was a preachy kind of thing telling the reader 'wash your teeth after eating' etc. Very direct, which I don't feel is very effective in giving a message.
I do various different 'books' on the site. Some sci-fi (like Apokalupsis itself - kind of the title track - based in a somewhat far future) (non-superhero), some with the Christian superhero genre (it's difficult to do this well - take a look at what you can find on the net, but which ones are good entertaining stories too? The story has to be good, but not preachy. I try to do that) with Rock 'n' Roll Kids. I've done some Bible story adaptations (even a Manga Adam and Eve story), St Paul (connected to Malta because he came here after all). I was going to do a crossover involving a famous turk from the time of the Great Siege of Malta, but since September 11, I basically scrapped the turk idea.
I'm experimenting with the form - layouts and the rest. I currently pencil on normal paper or board and then scan that. I then do computer colouring using PSP which tends to be time-consuming. Recently I've contributed a Cici pinup to Spilt Milk.
I'm using Qmail on a server but Postfix on another machine... I'm tending to find the latter somewhat better actually. Perhaps I'll switch the server to Postfix..
I bought a box of Fujifilm from the flea market actually and according to Nero, they were actually made by Ritek (Cyanine type)... so I don't think they were too good. As a result, I used them for throwaway data etc. No important data.
Once I bought an italian pressed original audio CD - and it had a free sticker of some kind which I left in the case.
The sticker melted and rotted the CD actually. It didn't play anymore... And the CD isn't sold anymore... so I can't buy it again. I didn't have backups....
Pages do not look right with IE!
Often they have broken images, and I don't like that.
So I use Firebird.

Also, when a dns server will be down due to some problem, the verisign page will come up instead...
I suspect there will be lots of calls to webhosts and isps about 'where's my website?' etc

A local artist was selling his CD by producing it on
CD-R, at the price of a CD...
Wow... I was amazed. I expected a cheaper price since it was obviously much cheaper to produce (and the thing was very home-produced indeed).
Don Francisco, a christian singer, is putting out mp3 versions of his most popular songs plus all his new ones, downloadable for free.
I lost his CD which I had bought, so this way I can download two of the tracks.
Other artists should follow this example.

It's bad enough it's uk only and not just that,
you can't convert it for viewing on a DVD player.
There has never been an observed case of something arising out of nothing. So I disagree here while respecting your opinion.
God is not something from nothing because nothing cannot create anything on its own.
If only nothing exists, how can the nothing do anything, let alone create God?????
God is not created. He must exist eternally and be the first cause, otherwise He would not be God.
And He is.

Here's a shameless plug for my own webcomics website:
Apokalupsis Comics
I saw a cereal box with a CD but on the back it said 'works for 30 days only'.. so what use is it?

Stargate SG-1 should be sci-fi most of the time, I hope... :)
Yes, Fawlty Towers and Red Dwarf are great -they should be there too..
You can add Crime Traveller - that was a good one too.
PBS in Malta should do the same.. We could rewatch some of the good locally produced shows (can't think of anything in particular :) oh well...)
Will it include Doctor Who!
Let's hope so!!!!
Please let it be XviD instead.
KVCD would be fine however.

An alternative to WMP is Zoom Player (free here which is completely free (unless users want the pro version).
