I actually spent a lot of time trying to find a good computer desk for my home office. I didn't want to spend a ton of money, so unfortunately, that means pressboard type furniture. After looking through tons of websites, I found what I was looking for.
It allows me to easily fit 3 monitors on the desk and with a swivel of the chair, I feel like I'm at command central. Furniturebuzz is a pretty decent store and had the cheapest prices around.
Now if I can only find a good full duplex speakerphone that doesn't cost 200 bucks.
You will be proven wrong point by point by Apple zealots, so don't even try.
Everything runs faster, more stable on a Mac. Nothing can complete with the Mac and that's why it's the standard on every single desktop and laptop in the world.
With that said, I think Amazon's Full Text search should have won.
Of course, it's 2004 nearly and the biggest invention to speak of is software to buy music or books. I want my damn hover-skateboard and to take vacations on Mars!!!!
.. how many sleepless nights to I have to play before I can meet Monica Bellucci?
One interesting thing I did read about this is that the agents would be the equivalent of Dragons in the AD&D world. If you see one, do like they told Neo and RUN!
.. I'm going to upgrade as soon as they have a belt clip sort of case. I really hate the current leather type of cases they are offering.
Even though it looks geeky, unless I have a good case that isn't that obtrusive, I'll wind up leaving it in my car/home/desk and not on my hip where I need it to be.
For all your treo needs, remember to go to treocentral.com. Their msg boards are awesome.
I have to admit, very nicely done. I was a little skeptical when it required a reboot on XP, but it worked without a flaw.
The celebrity playlists are pretty cool too.. complete with descriptions on why they like the song. I already found a few songs/bands I never heard of and sound pretty cool.
I especially like the 30 second preview of the song, which loads really fast. Im not sure if I'm actually going to buy anything, but it sure is a good way to find that song that's been nagging you in the back of the head.
.I had thought that if I put my lights on a dimmer, it would consume less energy than a normal on/off switch.
However, after doing some research on a hot dimmer switch I had in the kitchen, I read that a dimmer just dissapates the power and doesn't save you anything in electricty consumption.
More terrorists? Where! There are straglers of the Saddam regime that will be crushed in due time. More people have died in Washington DC than in Iraq since Bush declared the major fighting is over. That's another issue though.
"we can do it to Kennedy". Uh oh, it is way too late to start debating over our own government's involvement in the assination of our own president.
Ok, enough of this. I have caused enough bad Karma for one night.
The United States had nothing to do with putting the Ba'ath Party in power. The only reason the U.S. supported Saddam at one point (both Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan) was because of the extreme fundamentalism emerging in Iran, where Americans had been taken hostage.
" It doesn't seem like anyone really cares about Iraq any more. The protests were heavy and numerous leading up to the war, but once it began everyone seemed to abandon the cause all but entirely."
Yeah, and now all we care about is fucking Kobe Bryant. A soldier dies in Iraq and there is a courtesy mention on the news, while there are entire specials dedicated to Kobe's rape case.
Perhaps we should just ignore all the war coverage and just watch continuous 24hour VH1 specials on J-Lo/Ben and Kobe.
6000 civilians died and that's a tragedy, however, Saddam has killed far more of his own people that the US will ever kill.
Perhaps we should plaster on the front of every paper that 6000 Iraqi civilians have died due to the US led war against Iraq. Compared to the 200k civilians that were seemingly "lost" by Saddam's secret police, I still think that Bush's rating would be as high as it is... Of course, if you're a liberal democrat, nothing I can say will convince you otherwise.
well said.
This isn't new news, they have been hiring chimps for years now.
Good post. I completely agree.
Laf! I can't believe this got rated as insightful. Are there people taking notes?!?!?!?

Probably the only thing belonging to MS that was ever case sensistive.
.. but who are they going to get that is going to reliably keep hitting the "minute plus" button?

Well, you should know more than anyone that nothing cool comes out of Canada. Well, except for those damn cold fronts.

A little offtopic, but food for thought.

Do you think Bush's approval ratings would be so high if everyone knew that we've killed 6,000 civilians in Iraq? I vote "no."
This will be automatically be modded down because as soon as you say the word Fuck, you get killed by liberals.
Anyways, get a fucking clue
