My experience of recruiters in general is that they suck if you're looking for a job that's technical. They are rarely experts in their field of recruiting. If they were they would would for a tech company rather than some horrible commission based job.
I had to apply for my work permit in the UK so I had to save money and then come over and sit about while waiting for my work visa. So once I could work I just took a retail job literally on the same day as receiving my visa. I held that for about two weeks before moving onto something better which wasn't nice but I rather be a bit rude and have money than starve and have dignity.
Because of the gap without work, I obviously took my CV to as many companies and recruiters as possible to get something quick. The recruiters seem just look for buzzwords and try to match you up with stuff that way without even reading the actual CV to get some context on that buzzword. Some even assume that programming is just programming and despite no mention of C++ on my CV, I was asked to interview for jobs that required it.
Imo, it's a complete waste of time. You'd be better looking at specific companies and applying directly unless Canada has some weird obsession with recruiters and you have to go through them.
But it's not just a picture of a cat. It's a warped black & white picture of a cat and a letter/number besides similar letters / numbers with a similar warped animal on them.
Rapidshare wants you to pay for it so they aren't going to make it easy and even if you do get it on the first go I've found it claims you've exceeded your number of tries and you must either pay or wait to try again.

I back things up on DVDs but I also try to keep as much stuff on Rsync.net. That is the best form of backup as my backup will be backed up and I can access it from anywhere.
Touchscreen displays are only good for portables and sales displays. There is no value in touchscreen displays for desktops.
What will be the next big thing, imo, is Minority Report-like controls. Hell if someone can replicate this with a Wiimote then it can't be that hard to get something going for desktops.
That sounds like a poor excuse to download movies you don't own. The only issues I've ever had with a DVD was due to scratches. The format is superior to anything that existed before.

Most of their games have been rubbish, they've admitted to UT2k3 sucking and just banking on the fact it had sweet graphics and they released Unreal in such a horrible state that a petition had to be started to get them to fix it despite the numerous promises that they would release the final patch to fix it.
Their only success has been in the fact they've perfected marketing towards teen spacktards and they don't have any decent competition in the 3D engine department. They should consider themselves lucky that Carmack has better things to do than to own Epic.

Ubuntu does do what most people want out of the box. The only difference is people have to get used to the idea of using the package manager, if they want to use their AIM, MSN, etc they have to use Pigdin and a few differences but I think once people know those things they would be happy with Ubuntu.

This is all to be expected though. What did we really think would happen when computers and personal vehicles took off along side the growth of fast food industries? People simply don't move as much as their ancestors. That is why this rarely affects poor countries. A lot of diets don't work because they're aimed at lazy people who want to lose a lot of weight quickly rather than change their lifestyle.
Losing too much weight can lead to muscle loss and that sudden drop in eating will bring your metabolism to a halt so there are two things that go against these fad diet people even if they eat someone reasonable afterwards.
People don't realise that a diet isn't something you rent for a month and then quiet. It's something you have to do for life and if you can't do your diet for life then it's probably not a healthy diet. Diets, like dogs aren't just for Xmas.:P
