If they opted for heavy water reactor types like the CANDU then they wouldn't need to enrich uranium in the first place.

If it's not a problem that he hasn't been young/alive recently, how about Alberto Santos-Dumont? Among other things, "between 1898 and 1905, he built and flew 11 dirigibles. With air traffic control restrictions still decades in the future, he would glide along Paris boulevards at rooftop level in one of his airships, commonly landing in front of a fashionable outdoor cafe for lunch. On one occasion he even flew an airship early one morning to his own apartment at No. 9, Rue Washington, just off Avenue des Champs-Élysées, not far from the Arc de Triomphe." How could anyone not find that awesome?

The report didn't have anything else on it, so I'm guessing they didn't test for heavy metals or anything of that sort. If they had, I wouldn't have been all that surprised to see mercury and lead in the list.
As for Ozzy, he at least ought to test positive for heavy metal...
We need to keep bringing up this stupid behaviour. We need to talk about it, think about it, and most importantly share this idiotic stories with those we know who don't read Slashdot.
Why? Because this isn't okay. Like copyright extensions to infinity and like DMCA issues, Joe Average simply doesn't know what bad stuff is going on. The only way to cause change is by votes.
Well, some of us in Canada have started a Pirate Party for that very reason.
Of course some games are funny (Super Paper Mario had some great jokes), and even Smash Brothers Brawl made me laugh a few times.
I can't help but notice that the game you single out for being funny is not a game that seeks to "deliver a more realistic experience to the player" with detailed 3D graphics; in many ways it is in fact a "text-driven adventure."
I have a series of computers, each louder and progressively further away from me, which blare the 'Gilgamesh' music from Final Fantasy V. The first one starts playing, then five minutes later the second one farther away and louder than the first starts playing, etc. I live alone...
I had never heard of the 'right to roam' before. Thanks for posting!
For academic reasons I can't move to wherever I want, but if I could I think that Finland might be my first choice. It's not too hot, has an interesting language, and has the best music.;-)
Could environmental factors be the reason that people are dying of respritory complications in Mexico but, so far, this doesn't seem worse then other flu outbreaks.
Isn't Mexico City massively polluted? I wonder how that might affect things.
I hear that they're suspending the torch relay for three days too: http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2008/05/18/olympic-torch.html
So since there are to be three national days of mourning, maybe cutting access to entertainment sites is also a part of this...
Thanks for making the internet a better place!

FTFY.
The Apache Indian in North America would go to war with the Athenian Oracle at Delphi over the island of Java in the South Pacific.
Phocian, not Athenian... We mustn't let that Apache get lost while he's in Greece.

If you expect each facebook user to generate their own Public/Private key then you're diluted.
So what's the solution?

This hasn't been modded up? Surely people here get the reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Doomsday_Machine
Am I the only one who read the headline and first thought of the old TV show?

Arch has had it since yesterday: http://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/openoffice-base/

Basically, we are still in a cold war with one side KNOWING that it is, while the other side hopes that it is not.
With both sides being as economically inter-dependant as they are, we can't have a REAL cold war, despite all the nationalistic posturing.
When the actual F-35 is deployed, it will defeat those countermeasures and deliver its nuclear payload to Beijing -- on time and on target.
I'm sure you didn't mean it, but don't say "when" in describing such an event!
