I saw it in '2D' like any other movie i go see, the whole 3D movie with silly glasses is wasted on me, if you want a really hyped movie, take a look at Star Trek (the newest one), now that was a shitty over hyped movie, I'm still considering suing them for wasting my time
Honestly, i don't get all the hating on Avatar, it is a great movie (not the best ever tho), it's a nice simple family movie, enjoy (or hate) it for what it is, not for what others make it out to be, as for the media hype, what are you still doing consuming mainstream media? It's only good to cause brain atrophy.
Your socalled "Freedom Fries" are a European invention, it's one of those rare things invented in Belgium worth a damn, and one of the few things Belgians are proud of (together with our beers & chocolates)
It's funny how you demand my geek card whilst avoiding to demonstrate any knowledge on the subject at hand, you don't happen to work in the marketing department or on an executive level do you?
The telco's are already being paid by me, the paying customer (one who's being bled dry in Belgium if you actually want a usefull connection), they can go STFU.
I wasn't talking about Priuses, i never driven an automatic, and i know only one person who owns one, that's why i find it odd that they're that popular over there
Having heard all these stories really makes me wonder, i live in Belgium where cars with manual gear boxes are the common norm, and i've had my car accelerate like nuts once (pedal got stuck because of the floormat) i shifted to neutral, turned of the engine & used my momentum to get to the side of the road where i could dislodge the mat.
That's what you get for using Windows, seriously, settling for a lesser quality product because the OS you use on your computer is exploitable by just about any idiot out there is stupid.
Sure, Sony was in the wrong, but condemning a whole industry because one label was insidious enough to root people's (Windows based) computers is over reacting.
For the love of god, don't give'm any ideas!
Why did you befriend them if you don't like them?
I need more sleep... i read "scintilating scrotum"
You are mistaken, there are only three lights
You switch to weed, obviously
What do berries have to do with this?
And don't forget all those communists running linux! The bastards!

It was the captain that spoke Latin, not the computer

Insightful? Really Slashdot? *sigh*
No he didn't, hell, there's not even any proof the dude existed
Well they already do choke on water, they're mammals :P
This should be read as 'people whom visit the piratebay'.
Yea, found that out on the wiki link posted before, wasn't aware of him and TFS was sketchy with details to say the least.

And why should we care?

Reversing polarity?! This is Doctor Who we're talking about, not Star Trek, it'll be done with the sonic screwdriver and a cell phone!

Are manual gearboxes that rare in the States?
It's about bloody time
