One arrived in my mailbox of an account I rarely check (used to run on *nix, now owned by m$). A quick tour through the Spam folder revealed another 50 from "Today" (2008/08/06) & "Yesterday" (2008/08/05). my main email account, gmail, had yet to receive any.
are they targeting anyone in particular (aside from the usual morons)?
The exact same thing happend to me, but at a smaller company. It was at a Large Local/Small National ISP and I was working in the Network Operations Center. By the time I left, one person in the life of the company had worked in the position longer that I had. I left because I got sick of seeing people I trained promoted above me. I belive companies do this to try to keep people that are very good at the job where they are. All it does is lead to burn-out in high stress positions like call centers and NOC's.
I reciently received an unsolicited comercial bulk e-mail from Coca-Cola Korea. I have tried sending the offending spam to the usual addresses (abuse, postmaster, webmaster at coke.com & coca-cola.com) at Coca-Cola US, but all I have received back are bounces. I have also used their "send us e-mail" page, but no reply yet. If I do not get something thru to them soon, I am not sure what to do. Anybody got any clues?
not to be anal, but The Sims is rated by the ESRB "T (for teens)". Accoding to the box, it has "Comic Mischief, Mature Sexual Themes, Mild Animated Violence"
Could always do what I do, Lie
20500 is my zip according to most companies
20500 = White House
Didn't we soundly defeat those who used that symbol about 65 years ago? What us the problem of using it now?
