Actually, I thought RA3 was very good.

I am a heavy RTS player. Heavy as in pwned TA, C&C, WC, SupCom, SC, and others. I am excited about this!

I always disable form autocomplete. Blech. I also have a greasemonkey script that removes ajax autocompletes.

Name another <em>desktop</em> browser that can do that.

    Profiles should be nice.

You all need to ban the IP that keeps posting these. This has been on two stories in the past two days (this being the 2nd). These are vulgar profanities that should offend all people of every color and creed by their racism. I hope the guy who posted these doesn't have any mod points soon because if he does I'm hosed.

Because we aren't. Symbolism is not actuality. Communion is to continually remind us that he gave himself for us, not to turn us into cannibals. (which we would be if it really was his flesh and blood, or the flesh and blood of any human. It makes me sick just thinking about it that way)

Wine (flstudio runs great in it)? I use Windows for games unless there is a native client or it is an oldie. Most pre-2005 games will run in Wine well.

Mirror's Edge was a big monetary loss for EA, and Spore was received far less enthusiastically than expected. The game that made EA the most money last year? Madden - one of the least innovative series in the industry. And Portal may have helped sell Orange Box, but it never would have stood on its own as a serious revenue generator for Valve.

Sadly, game companies don't always feel the need to innovate because people are finicky and games cost millions to make. After all, they are businesses, usually with stock holders to answer to.

That is what free indy games are for. To play around with ideas that no CEO in their right mind would pay you to develop because it's so far out! Flash games are the biggest in this category (free indy games). Although many are just knock-offs of others now.
