I couldn't agree more. Even if one assumes the that the PDA can run it with no problem I think it still takes up way too much screen space, which has been one of the many reasons people around here criticize CE.
Ok so I lied half the people around here criticize CE just because it's MS.
You also have to remember that AOL is calling the shots now AOL is in charge of netscape not mozilla. Netscape 6 will be based on Mozilla, this is totaly different from Mozilla meanignt the exact same thing as Netscape.

Who cares if you like Tekken 3, his point was that people play it.
Also a pinbal machine has both the "complex video game circuitry" and the "mechanical electronic systems" so there goes that arguement. Besides even if the mechanical systems on a pinball machine are relativly easy to fix that doesn't mean that there will be someone available to fix it. Even if there was someone on hand to fix it whenever there was a problem I have the feeling there would be a problem more often than would be with Tekken Tag sitting in the same space.
Sure, it _maximizes_ your earnings, but certainly does not negate your earnings if your machine drops down to 90% Your goal as a bussiness man is to maximize your earnerings. He didn't say that a pinball machine won't make money but if Tekken 3 makes more money in the same space most people will put Tekken 3 in.
Your assuming he was hosting the game. Even with default settings it's possible to have a level 17 and a level 9 character in the same game, host is L13 +4 is L17 and -4 is L9.
Even if he was hosting the same situation could still exist with a L13 character instead of a L14.
Wait wait I'm confused you're not going to have a voodoo setup? I thought the whole point was run games faster....Why else would anyone spend $8000 on memory.
If you were saturate the PCI bus with one device as you suggest what happens to your NIC card, sound card, your SLI voodoo 2 setup (hehe), a second drive, or anything else which happens to be on the PCI bus?
533MBps for a 64bit PCI bus at 66MHz that means that with 110MBps the drive is using just over 20%. Add a 100MBps network card and your at about 40% which leaves over 300MBps for other devices even if your NIC and HD are running flat out.
The MacOS advocate should have brought out Internet Explorer for the Mac. Sorry to say but that thing kicks but compared to Netscape on Linux(yes I know there is Mozilla but it is alpha and I doubt it comes with Corel). What I find odd is that IE on a Mac is much nicer than IE on windows, at least thats what they tell me.
Why yes I do need the whole SONG but not the whole ALBUM. You're little food analogy seems to say that one song is the entire product. To me it's more like have one slice of a large pizza(accpet that they can give the next guy the exact same slice )

The July issue of PC Gamer will have a CD with full versions of 10 old games such as X-COM and the side scrolling Duke Nukem. I don't know about Commander Keen though:(
Depending on what you search for google will show adds. Try searching for web hosting and check out the Verio add(although it text and doesn't really stick out)
You don't think faster hardware makes a difference? Also I'm sure that with a video of the game all of the "rough edges" are cut out(perfectly understandable though). With real gameplay some of the not so good parts might slip in.
Lets use bleem as an example I'm sure that you could put together an amazing video demo with games working flawlessly with enhanced graphics, but in real life things arn't so rosy and many games have problems.
Star Wars episode I also works as an illustration. The trailer rocked but the movie itself was just average.
God did not sit down, boot up, and fire up StarOffice to write the Big Book
Of course not he uses EMACS.
Doesn't make a difference to me, she's still the one who spilled it.

Too bad no one will do it :(
Being stuck with napster might not be the best thing ever though...what if all of a sudden people switched to a different program.
What about the woman he was enganged to? She left him because he was making her fat.
they're planning on showing a beta of Vorbis at next week's MP3.com summit in San Diego
There's the news part. It also creates greater awarness about Ogg Vorbis which is probably a "good thing" (TM)

You played the stress test and not the beta. As far as I know the beta came before the stress test and was much more compleat.
Very well sir.
Anandtech forum Rambus article part 1
Anandtech forum Rambus article part2
Anandtech has a very different( and in my opinion saner) take on Rambus part 1 looks at the reasoning behind Rambus while part 2 gives current performance of RDRAM vs. SDRAM and looks at where things are expected to be a few years down the road.

For those of you who couldn't care less about Linux why bother reading the article about Linux at E3?
To me it seems about the same thing as if I posted "For those of who couldn't care less about E3 any insight into other facets of Linux"
