  1. Deal or No Deal? on Students Are Always Half Right In Pittsburgh · · Score: 1

Keep dumbing them down. Maybe they should just show up and pick a suitcase with their grade inside. How about you let them do extra credit work to bring their scores up from the 20 they get in their first marking period allowing them to bring it up to maybe 50-70? At least that way the ones that actually want to learn might actually learn something. That achieves the same goal.

  2. 1and1 maybe? on Email-only Providers? · · Score: 1

Take a look at what 1and1.com has. You get decent email with just getting a domain for $7/year. Get quite a bit more for $12/year and they have something else called mailxchange for like $60/year. I'm not endorsing any of this stuff. I don't care for their domain billing practices but I'm not going to discount their mail services.

Don't know why I never noticed this before but Xenu backwards is Unex. Maybe a thinly disguised reference to Unix? Was L Ron a programmer, well obviously, I mean computer programmer? Perhaps he was forced to use Unix which he thought was evil and that's how he came up with Xenu?

You don't get it. This scum bag was sent to MINIMUM security prison for TWO years (with good behavior, even less). It's practically like being locked up in your house. HE MAKES MONEY illegally annoying millions of people and now it was his turn to be annoyed. He chose his path.

If I left a CD sitting on a park bench and walked away from it, haven't I made it available? If CDs were in my car with the windows open and someone reached in and took them was I making them available? In each of these cases the "IP owners" aren't getting paid. So am I guilty of some hideous crime? The logic of being convicted on making available is just pure crap.

So we should buy into yet another MS line. I'M SURE, this will be another MS "PLAYS FOR SURE" product.
