When there's a greater than 50% chance that you will get divorced and she'll end up with at least 2/3 of your money / assets, any man who decides to get married is an utter moron.

    I knew about Josh / Anita going full retard over Doom 4, but what about crafting gear in Fallout 4 can they POSSIBLY find offensive? I realize that they're socially retarded and are offended by everything, but how can you possibly claim "SOGGY KNEES!" over crafting gear?

    Nope, we're actually the leader in our field and the company has been around for 90 years and doing better than ever. Our entire industry is mostly made up of small family owned businesses (which I was surprised to learn when I got hired).

    Normally, I'd agree. My current job (not my first using my degrees) is a small family owned company where everyone actually enjoys their job and most people who get hired here stay until they retire.

    No, it's because they lack the skills to do anything more pleasurable. I spent years working shitty hourly jobs while I took out loans and put myself through college and grad school - now I have the skills to have a job that I both enjoy and it pays far better.

    It can happen, it's just rare. I work at a small family owned company in the US (around 120 employees) and the majority of the employees have worked here for over 25 years with multiple non-owners being here for around 40 years.

    Or you can find something that you enjoy that also utilizes skills that will always be in demand (such as critical thinking and problem solving).

    Only those who don't need to work for a living think that higher education isn't related to making money. It must be nice to have that large trust fund, but the rest of us have to earn a living and pay our own bills.

    "Free". You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. They pay out the ass in taxes for that "free" education and over the course of their career, they'll pay more money than if they just took out loans and paid for it themselves.     When was the last time you feared for your life because you said the president is doing a crappy job? How many of your relatives or friends have disappeared into the night?

    There are about 10 SWAT assault per day in the US, most of them "accidentally" getting the "wrong address" and shooting up innocent people. Seeing how we know that the government has been reading all online communication and listening to phone calls, many of those murders very well could be due to people speaking out against the government.

    He didn't violate his oath, he violated an NDA. I'm pretty sure that courts have consistently ruled in favor of immunity for breaking an NDA when exposing criminal behavior.

    First off, Snowden would never get a fair trial. Secondly, if he came back to the US, he'd almost certainly be assassinated before he could ever get to a court room.

    Promotes banning things, then says "who's not allowing anything". Many laughs were had. Sadly, every person who wants to ban guns says "I don't want to ban guns". Just like how politicians say "I want to protect freedom" when voting for / signing a bill that takes away freedom.

    The point of gun control is people control. It's not about lowering crime, it's about ensuring that politicians do not have to fear armed rebellion. Just remember, the worst school massacre in US history didn't involve a gun, just a pissed off school employee with home made explosives and a baseball bat. James Holmes could have killed FAR more people in that movie theater if he'd just gone to Walmart and bought some bike chains, kerosene, and matches.
