Cry a whole river poor monkey , you still remain a socketpuppet winning peanuts:-) You're nothing, you're nobody, reduced to getting shit posted on the internet at the behest of someone rs... Poor crybaby.
Do you guys see this, guys? This AC is an example of classic socketpuppet winning some peanuts by post, using generic and automatic offenses "patrolling" anyone who tries to post facts, trying to hide these facts under the piles of shit they shit on their keyboards.
happening in Brazil as well. While the country is being systematically dismantled and enslaved, the "old" media sells a "wonderful world" for the masses, in the Internet a troop of fake accounts fills the social media with rumors, lies and misinformation to criminalize all the leaders of the country who can do something against the country's dismantling.
That's what happened here too. Some games lost performance considerably, others started to have graphic problems (for example a strange black screen effect flashing at high frequency) and some simply did not work anymore.
Windows 10 version 1809 broke most of my games in DX9, making me have to go back to Windows 7. What will they break this time, the sound support? Or the support for PS/2 keyboards?
I have no problem creating logical arguments, thank you... But, you on the other hand did not understand that the subject should be responding to me instead of the article, so i think is you who have trouble creating logical arguments and also problems with text interpretation.
That is an option, but even this does not survive when those responsible for the distributions decide to make more radical changes (happens at a frequency higher than would be healthy).
I see that you have no experience in programming professionally given your response... Seriously, using Windows 10 as an excuse for Linux to be a mobile target? Really?
You did not understand anything I wrote. Servers do not change constantly, same thing for routers and cell phones. Now try making desktop applications like I do and you will understand the problem.
The fundamental problem in programming professionally for Linux is that it is a moving target.
Let's say I made a complex image editor for Ubuntu. The following month it stops running because the lib "X" no longer supports for something that I assumed would be standard. Then it's the "Y" lib that crashes because the lib developer decided to rewrite it in a scripting language (and did a mediocre job at it). I as a responsible professional spent a few weeks changing my code (and this costs money) to get around the problems of libs X and Y, but then the next month is the lib Z that suddenly conflicts, and when I can fix the interaction with lib Z now is the Canonical who decides to redo the way the Ubuntu desktop works and my whole work goes down the drain.
Most companies simply do not have the time or resources to keep rewriting their applications indefinitely, so it's easier to just not support Linux.
I'ts just a example, duh... If you and the others who also commented have such difficulty in separating example from the literal, let's say that even if you do not have "national secrets" on your cell phone or "information about terrorist cells", you will still have a lot of information that a rogue cop can use to hurt and rob you. And do not be fooled by the arrogant comments that say "so do not just put data on the cell phone" because the usefulness of a modern cell phone is exactly that you can carry this data with you as if you were carrying your desktop together, for example you have to login again on every single site you visit using your cell phone or the mobile browser's password manager takes care of it for you?
If a border agent said he wants unlimited access to my phone, I'd tell him to fuck off.
Why?
For example, let's say my phone contains the data I need to access and move my bank account. What would prevent the border agent from using this data to access my account and steal my money? Nothing.
Or imagine that I'm carrying important documents for my company that although they are perfectly harmless to national security, my competitors would love to get their hands on them. What would prevent the border guard from stealing these documents and selling them to my competitors? Nothing.
Good question. In my opinion the logic suggests that first placing the astronauts in the capsule and then fueling would be safer because in the event of an accident the astronauts would already be inside a system capable of moving away from the explosion (the capsule). While if you fueled the rocket first and then put the astronauts, in the event of an explosion the astronauts (and the ground crew assisting them) would still be in the tower and would be caught in the blast without being able to escape.
Is not the same thing. As an example I can not install Android 9 on my Galaxy S7, I'll depend on Samsung or Google making a compatible version.
(it's true that I can do some hacks and try to incorporate the necessary drivers myself, but it's not trivial and depends on a thorough knowledge about how Android and the target hardware works)
In fact the right thing would be to be able to install the operating system of your choice on your mobile phone, just as you can install Windows or Linux on a desktop. Of course, this would make you have to worry about things like drivers (or something like that), but in return you would not be at the mercy of the phone manufacturer.
But thing is, manufacturers love to have full power over your cell phone hardware, especially the part of making it obsolete when they want and thus forcing you to buy a new model.
Is it serious that you've never seen the difference between one text with proper kerning and one text without kerning? Really?
In editors like MsOffice kerning is used by default, it is rarely necessary to tinker with the default setting. That's why you hardly ever hear of kerning, because it's usually done correctly by default (and also on most applications that need to show text, Firefox for example). Except in LibreOffice after version 5, in LibreOffice kerning is done so bad that it is common for certain character sets to be printed with no space between them.
I'm stuck with Libre Office 5.1.1 for being the last released version able to use kerning correctly (spacing between characters) and also be the last version where the text rendering is passable.

I meant version 1803, I did not pay enough attention when typing the version
CORRECTION: I meant version 1803 , not 1809

You really really don't have any experience coding professional/big projects right?

"You must be a WINNER!!" culture.
(and where anyone who is not a winner then is a loser and allocated to die for lack of resources since the winner takes everything.)
You are sheep, I not. I avoid the hassle simply not going to your shitty country.

You're joking of course, but industrial saboteurs are a pretty real thing.
