Honestly this story smells a lot more like a trial balloon or fake news than something that actually happened. If Google actually starts censoring unpleasant realities from results I'll be happy to eat my words and stop using Google. Until then color me very skeptical.
This filtering of truth that might offend some appears to be the formal announcement of memory holes being put into action. Look at a video "6 million lies" on youtube, there is some compelling evidence that what we all "know" to be true, may in fact be a massive lie. How many other facts that are potentially upsetting to some fringe group have already been waylaid? This may also signal that google has jumped the shark. I may have to give up my comfortable google searches for something a little more open and honest.
Having spent a year in flyover country and most of the rest of my life on the West coast, I'll call bullshit on your troll claim. 1. We in California control the real food, vegetables, fruit, all get to the Midwest from down south (Mexico) or from the West coast (Cali-fucking-fornia). 2. We don't get cold like y'all do so we can just throw on a couple of blankets and wait out the two weeks of winter. 3. We have our own cars (our own transportation) and can get petroleum from Mexico so fuck you and your fuel. 4. Your last paragraph is just a reflection of your fear, poverty, and desperation.
They were tapping the Russian's. People called the Russians, those people's calls were being tapped because the Russians were being tapped. All perfectly expected, right? Now, once they had established a link as direct Russian associates, probably it wouldn't be so hard to justify extending the tap to these new players. Degrees beyond that would be a stretch but direct associates were probably seen as fair game. If the calls were made from campaign lines, then the campaign numbers were in play and all calls made from them as well.
This looks like the kind of thing I would rather not know about cause I want to sleep at night and already have a shit-ton of other things that I keep in mind.
Your points sound good on a quick read AC. Maybe if you broke up your thoughts into paragraphs and developed them with a little more verbosity you wouldn't get ranked into oblivion. Your prose is more complex than average so to the casual observer it reads like a wall of obtuseness, which it isn't. So +1 "Insightful" from me if I had mod points to give.
We also spend quite a bit on weapons, a lot of that money could be redirected towards education, infrastructure, basic research, free medical care for all. I would definitely not want the police getting more money, shit they'd want to upgrade their battering ram vehicles to F-16s (for safety).
Yeah, and in right-wing sites (in the USA) users would have to verify their belief that Jews are God's (capital G please) Chosen People, that Jews are the world's best scientists and produce more science than all other people, and there is only one true God and his name is Yahwe.
You just used the term "circle jerk", I do not think that word means what you think it means. Google for it, not at work, not images either unless you are curious.
I did not realize that anything on the coast was considered flyover country, I thought that was strictly the area between the coasts. Thanks for enlightening me. My company is making a big push to move production to Pensacola and they're having a hard time staffing, perhaps due to the factors you mentioned. I went to Pensacola on a business trip a number of years ago, not really long enough to get a feeling for the area. I vaguely recall some touristy shopping area, maybe a huge Ron-Jon Surf Shop store.
You are right tehcyder. Those are all not exactly taxes but they are definite drains on one's income and a reduction of available funds monthly. The only qualifier on the 401K is that it impacts your taxable income, and so does a Health Care FSA (Flexible Spending Account).
You are absolutely right AvtarX. I do believe though that once one gets to a certain income level, particular things start to seem like necessities: Cell phones for each person over 10 years old in the household, good health insurance, high quality food (organic, grass-fed, non-GMO), slightly nicer clothing, slightly more indulgent parties, etc. So, these things end up sucking more of one's money than would be considered truly absolutely necessary. Yes, technically they are indulgences but what good is eating like shit if it is going to kill you earlier?
Those are all good points MemeRot. However, if you don't put money away for your future you end up living toothless under a bridge when you grow old. They are taxes only in the sense that you don't see that money now. They are considered the prudent and correct thing to do, also they shelter your money now from taxes so in that sense, they do impact taxes.
It is if you don't want to be destitute in the future. If we had a strong social safety net and our future in our later years were assured then we wouldn't _need_ to set aside a portion of our income for future needs. Given that this is a cold, harsh country where we are each left to fend for ourselves, it is very much a tax that we all have to voluntarily set aside. Think of the converse, wouldn't you tell someone who's not setting money in a 401K how stupid they are for not planning for the future?
Did you forget the sarcasm tag? Not sure what you're getting at here friend.

I guess denial is not just a river in Egypt.

I always thought it came rolled up in a Zig-Zag.
No, magazine subscriptions, of course.

uh, because the comments are not in Russian or whatever other non-English(US) language.

Don't we already have that in place? Don't families already have to stage car-washes and Fund-me campaigns to help pay for medical care?

That was a depressing link: In the USA we're number 44 with 69% of people considering religion important, I guess that's how we got DT.
I skimmed the slashdot summary, I figure that puts me on par with the other people here.

You are right, the AC is all over the place and probably sleep deprived or on just a tad too much acid.

Yeah, that's not too surprising. People with options first exhaust attractive options.
And now we know why cops are such dicks
LOL
