Also don't turn a blind eye to Zakk Wylde. I remember hearing one of Zakk's acoustic demo tapes years ago, it totally blew me away. I've also seen quite an impressive video of him playing guitar at school.
For their size (and power) the EEE's seem to be excellent value for money. They seem perfect for most of the things I'll ever have to do on the move.
Great for taking to university as it was such a swine to lug around my current laptop all the time (until it died). As I've got limited funds the EEE seems to be a good choice for me.
...A sub £200 subnotebook that's able to handle itself running Half-Life 2 (yes I know it's fairly old now...but still:P) and a variety of other games just seems impressive to me.
If it can handle those it's powerful enough for what I need to do (coding in Python, Java and C++, word processing, music etc).
I remember years ago a friend challenged me to a game of Command and Conquer on his Playstation.
The initial shock of using a controller instead of a mouse for such a game. Horrible. It just seemed really inefficient. A downgrade if you will.
But the main thing I hated about that game on consoles was split screen multiplayer. I just really didn't see the point whatsoever.
Having your opponent watching your every move. Seeing what you're building. Knowing *exactly* when you're going to attack. It just takes the challenge and suspense out of it IMO.
Give me a mouse, LAN and fog of war any day baby;P
Although I do like to download a air few torrents here and there, I like to dabble in the odd online game although not as much as I used to.
The amount of arguments and fights that come from people 'torrenting' in my gaming time is ridiculous.
Almost as many as back in the day when we had 56k dial up and one phone line:P
I can't imagine anything off St.Anger being much of a challenge though... no solos. The songs just won't be broken up enough, they'd be repetitive.
It'd be quite interesting to play "(Anesthesia) - Pulling Teeth" (Yes I know it's a BASS solo. It'd still be fun though)

"...he would practice playing the guitar as much as 12 hours per day and often would play the guitar almost non-stop between coming home from school and leaving for school the next morning, then sleeping through the school day."
A man with great skill and dedication... and one hell of a beard :P

I could have some great lunchtime LAN games.
...Oh, and do my work.
erm... no. I was not talking about the services themselves but people's feelings towards them.
At no point did I state that subscription services *aren't* trustworthy, merely that people may believe they're not to be trusted for whatever reason.
So the question is: "Are *you* always in a rush to be wrong and look retarded by responding to something you don't understand...?"
Don't be so quick to assume what people mean...
"You fail to hit the demon, it takes an attack of opportunity..."
"No one cares." Surely he's not the only one who is made to feel uneasy about subscription services. I'm sure all of *those* people care.
Always got "Phormula 1". Wonder if you could get away with that?

Been there, done that. They should make another 2d one :P
That'd kick the shit.
Yeah, we wouldn't like that. I personally like to have my potions well lit for all to see. :P
