    Is Opera correctly displaying a broken page, or is it displaying a good page improperly?

    From my experience IE does a great job at rendering broken html, Opera and Firefox are less likely to make the correct assumptions about bad html.

    If the answer starts with money, s/he will probably not work out. Everyone of course needs to earn a living, but if the only reason a candidate is seeking a position.

    To be a good technician, you have to enjoy technology. You have to spend more than 8 hours a day thinking about it. A guy who was in my Windows Server class last semester was working on a BS in Business but thought that it would be a good idea to persue a degree in CIT as well. He bitched and moaned about the work. I told him that IT just might not be his field. Having the degree will increase his chances of being assigned the kind of work that he hates.

    Why I hate Microsoft?

    It's their bully tactics. They beat Netscape by employing their monopoly to crush the competition. They violated Stac Inc.'s intellectual property with DblSpace and used their vast reserves to cash to keep from having to make it right. They bought Bungie and delayed the release of Halo for the Mac and Windows platforms just to have an XBox only app at launch. WGA. Software "activation".

    What really burns me up is that after 20 years of Microsoft's horrible behavior, we actually have stupid assholes talking about making Bill Gates President of the USA.

    I think that it was unfair to mod your post down the way that it was, because it's a valid question and one that other people will undoubtedly have.

    Some people will be using it for more than just a TV guide and would appreciate the extra power of a dual core or SMP system.

    I'll give you some slack for finals week, but you are off by three decades. Pennies were made of 95% copper until the mid 80's. Dimes, quarters, half-dollars and full-sized full dollars (i.e. not sacagawea-sized) were made of silver until 1963.

    Maybe they were made in 1963(I am not sure) but the ones marked 1964 were still silver.(On this I AM sure)

    When I was 21, I worked at a movie theater. When I started my shift I counted the money in my drawer, there was a shiny uncirculated 1964 half-dollar in there. I pulled a dollar out of my pocket and made myself some change. I probably made more money in an "even exchange" than I got working that day.

    I agree with the last, but the other portions are just as engrained in todays 'christian' beliefs as if it says in the Bible "Take up guns and smite thy neighbor". Bullshit. These people are not Christians, nor should you believe they are. If they truly believed in an afterlife, they'd have changed their ways a long time ago.


    You're letting your agenda show. The Bible itself is in favor of capital punishment.

    Furthermore, alluding to the book attempts to negate the fact that the early Catholic Church performed heavy editing, ignoring entire books that were very popular, had great information, and would sway one away from organized religion. Think of it as forced selective reading of the Bible for 1500 years.

    If you think that the Catholics were bad, the reformers were even worse. The Protestant Bible has fewer books than the Catholic Bible.

    Love one's neighbor more than one's self Loves God with all of their heart, soul and mind. It's pretty much that simple.

    You do realize that the Bible is a big book right? There is justification foa nearly everything in that book. Eating shrimp is an offense punishable by death!

    Any person that calls themselves a Christian but hates homosexuals, Muslims, non-Christians, liberals, etc. is sorely deluding themselves.

    According to the Bible, even God hates homosexuality.
    Leviticus 18:22 "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman, that is detestable."

    To be a Christian or a Jew requires that you believe that this is the word of God. You seem to be as duluded as the people you decry.

    There's no way that a prospective employer can reasonably expect to be able to look at your current production code, and if they do and they expect you to bend the rules of your current NDAs I'm not sure it'd be somebody I'd want to work for anyways.

    It might be a test. Not of his skill, but of his trustworthiness.

    How correct you are, Emulators have allowed me to rediscover the joys of the old school games of my youth. At one time, If you had told me that I'd play Below The Root on a 19" LCD, I would have laughed at you.

    You can emulate damned near everything from the Atari 2600 to the Playstation, and in some cases get better results than with the original system.

    "Sex Offenders" are the new moralists boogeymen.

    I know a couple of sex offenders that I would have no problem letting my (future) children be near. One of them was 21 and had sex with a 17 year old girl. Say what you want, but that isn't the type of behavior that endangers children. I know another one who tricked a crack-whore into giving him free sex. When he didn't come up with the promised crack, she claimed that he raped her. Once again, that's not the type of behavior that will threaten our children.
