I used to have a 15 GB cap and I didn't look at every download with care. Nor did I plan gigabyte patches. Most of the time I just downloaded what seemed fun and stopped downloading at all when I reached 14 GB. Of course, now that I have a 100 GB cap, I don't watch out at all. The fact that I'm at a college with a 5 GB cap might have something to do with that.
That's just sad. And their hosting service doesn't seem to be subject to any reason. They should sue them and meanwhile try to regain all content and host it somewhere else.
I'm pretty sure dreams don't come from the visual cortex but are conceived in the perception itself. What I mean is, things don't have color in my dreams. They are not black-white, they are not dark, there is just no color information. They only do when it's important. I will dream of green grass but when I dream of a book, it's just a book, not a black, green, UV, red or transparent book. No color information because it doesn't matter.
No. No. No. Your analogy is not only completely wrong from the core, but also the correct variation of this would be copying the plans of a Murcielago and building an 'exact' copy that could ride on railroads. The company that makes Murcielagos has no losses and I can ride my ride where I want it. But I'm not going to pay them for it.
You take things too black and white. Why should I buy a game if there isn't the slightest guarantee it'll work? I also pirate because I'm just a poor student a new game costs about 95$ here ( converted from 60 euro) and I pirate because of DRM. Also, don't assume I don't buy games. I buy games. But not for the PC.
In an unsupported way, like using Wine. Wine works pretty well for a lot of games, but not always perfect and sometimes requires fiddling.
Also I have a platform that supports it. Using Linux didn't void my Windows XP license I hope so I could dual-boot and use Windows to play the game. But my argument still stands, if a game makes me switch platforms or settle for a sub-optimal solution, I'm not going to pay for it.
Alright. But don't start complaining if I pirate the game. If there is no official support for my platform, why should I pay a company that doesn't think I'm important enough.
I also think there are a lot more Linux would-be gamers than most companies think. Saying there are about 25 to 100 Windows computers for every Linux computer, doesn't mean there are 25-100 times more Windows gamers. Maybe 5% of the Windows users buy a certain game, but 25% of the Linux crowd, just because there are so little Linux games. I'm still waiting for UT3.
If you've ever used an EEE before, you would understand that Linux can be easy-to-use. This is because it was set up like that by a company and in contrast to Windows, companies can set up Linux;
We shouldn't limit the players to protect their hearing. Everybody has been warned enough and if you're listening to maximum volume 5 days a week, you're such an idiot you deserve to go deaf.
A better reason would be to limit them so that they can't let me 'enjoy' their music without my consent.
1. Linux has no viruses. Why would we need something like this?
2. If they're going to make a list of the behaviour of _every_ program, then that list would be HUGE, and take petabytes. A blacklist is a lot easier to make and keep up.
3. This still wouldn't protect the weakest link: the user. If a virus asks the user:" Add IAmATrojan.exe to the whitelist ", a lot of people wouldn't do it. Heck, if you need even need a normal anti-virus, you're to stupid to work with computers.
Then maybe it should be illegal to buy the IP of a corporation, but buying corporations themselves is a fundamental system in the capitalistic economy. I don't think it's really easy to outlaw it. And then we're even forgetting that they would just use some dirty tricks, like buying all shares or "inheriting" it.
But WPA encryption is something huge! Since WEP doesn't work this means that you can only connect to unsecured network. And I'm not going to remove encryption because Timmy with his iPod Touch wants to check his mails.
So it takes a screenshot for some effect? Is there even a way to do this without taking a screenshot? A way that is easy enough to be performed on a smartphone?
And what did you expect from Apple? That every bit of data that was discarded is overwritten ten times? Jeez, I enjoy bashing big companies as much as the other guy but now they're looking too far. Remember, it also saves your web history, every picture you took, every file you opened everything you did somewhere...
On page 13, they have completed Hitler's dream. Germany seems to occupy Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, most of Austria, Croatia, Slovenia and Hungary.
Weird because the rest of the chart seems pretty correct. This must mean all of Google are Nazi's.
Why is this modded Troll? It's true, by forcing webdev's to make pages intentionally broken, they force other users to get IE to view the pages correctly. And currently the only way to get IE is with a copy of Windows.

In the old days I would have suggested that Microsoft was limited to x86 processors
Who says Microsoft is using Windows on their servers?

In short: I call bullshit on this.

This happens to one out of every 133225 people (leap years not taken in account).
Some quality issues? OK.

"I'm afraid I can't do that, Timmy"

That's great to hear thanks. If that's the case I'll consider buying Kane's Wrath.
Portal still holds my vote for best videogame audio. It really helped build the game's atmosphere.
Some games on the the other hand, just slap a stupid rock-techo-pop beat on it, just for having something. (I'm looking at you C&C3)
You don't need AdBlock, just edit your hosts file. It disables just about every ad on every site I know.

I live in Belgium and I have a cap of 100 GB which is huge in comparison to other providers in this country. My usage of the last months is:

Intel doesn't really need help. I don't recall them having problems.
It's interesting that Intel is venturing in the mobile world.

What's the problem? The headline just states that the story is about the flights the Armadillo engine made.
