Having seen 100's of companies try this, and having worked with hundreds of companies (I'm a consultant), and seeing almost all of them fail, I felt I was more qualified than these guys who have never heard of Linux until I walked in. They had this "amazing, original" ecommerce idea that would make millions. The funny thing is, I already WROTE the exact application they wanted...twice! I even showed them what I wrote a YEAR before..live..on the web..they REFUSED to admit it was thought of already.then after a week of pow-wows..they let me go because I knew too much about what they wanted and felt it would be detrimental to their future goals! I've never been happier about being laid off. I felt I was in the dot bomb ere again..like deja vu..did these people live in a cave??

My wife's cousin is dumb as a stump. He graduated with honors from NYU. I was amazed! Besdes the fact that he had a flank of tutors 24-7. He passed his exams, and did all his work. So, he graduated w/ honors from the CS program from NYU. Why does he call me still when he can't find a file on his hard drive? Well, as a student of Biblical Studies working on his ordination, I've done extensive studies on both Hebrew and Greek. Modern Hebrew is not the same as Biblical Hebrew (although they are close). There were always speakers of Hebrew , although Koine Greek fell into disuse around 200 AD or so. I understand your point about the shifts of meaning, so maybe "timeless" was a bad choice of words. The problems of Biblical translation are two-fold. The biggest one is translating from the Greek or Hebrew TO the target language. Many translators translate from the English or the Vulgate which is not the preferred method. They're doing a translation of a translation!
