  1. Re:Refunds for broken merchandise. on Are Complex Games Doomed To Have Buggy Releases? · · Score: 1

Basically, companies have gotten so incredibly bad with bugs that some games are actually DOA with some systems. I've had that experience a few times. The problem is major bugs. Companies are releasing games that just aren't ready yet, and it's definitely time to push. Exactly how this happens and what should/can be done is another matter.

"Maybe it's really about Democratic politicians looking really good against Colbert's over the top ultra-conservatism?" Colbert's "over the top ultra-conservatism" is a blatantly obvious joke. His show makes a mockery of many things Republican, and he doesn't actually show any real conservatism. Nothing he says is of any calculated conservative logic. He simply says things at times that are stereotypical of conservative opinion.

Hey, does anyone remember a red tape-like strip from 3M that was supposed to be vastly superior to solar panels? They were talking about lining parts of skyscrapers with them to power the whole building. Whatever happened to this? I can't find anything on it anywhere, and it seems incredibly foolish to be wasting time with outdated solar technology when there's something like this.

You don't need gasoline to power vehicles, Dunbal. Hydrogen fuel cell cars are already here and functional. We need to switch over to those completely.

Just wait until we find some investors and unleash the Tourette's Helmet to the world! Utilizing patented scripting technology, no one will be able to stop you once you don this baby. If someone launches a rocket at you simply yell "CRAP!" and you'll dodge it instantly. Sniper taking pot shots at you? Simply yell "HOLY SHIT!" and you'll scramble and juke your way to safety. Incoming artillery strike? Simply yell "FUCK SHIT FUCK!!!" and you'll be out of harm's way in no time.

Unfortunately, it appears that by legalizing the methods of wiretapping, they are basically repealing the previous state of the FISA law, thus bypassing a constitutional violation based on the whole ex post facto issue.

There was a heat wave here in southern California recently, and I couldn't stand being in the room with my Core 2 Duo E6750 running at the standard clock speed (2.66GHz). I underclocked it by 20%, which helped *tremendously*.
