    Don't forget to clear the browser cache and URL history. You don't want her to start typing in www.hotbot.com and seven keystrokes into it do an AutoComplete to a different hot website.

    How do THEY know that the person hasn't legally purchased the CD? Do they register all CD purchases over there?

    I don't like the idea of any anti-piracy group assuming that I'm guilty prior to a fair hearing by billing me.

    I comment on satellite Internet. I was on Soviet space station Mir 7 month, and Internet connection was horrible. It was still far better than home Internet connection back in Russia.

    The cost of retaining those attorneys (unless EFF can help) would be huge. It is common practice for a large corporation to have lawyers that will drag the case through the courts for an eternity until the legal fees take their foe out. Trust me, whatever media coverage this gets now would be long gone by the time that happens, and the Corporation would not be hurt at all.
