Know how I know that? It's four pages long, yet doesn't say anything.
"As perceptive CIOs seek to transform their rigid, legacy ridden infrastructures into agile, efficient, service-driven delivery mechanisms, they must adopt a pragmatic approach to managing the risks of consumer IT while embracing the benefits.
Technical company with large installed base gets lazy and stupid. Examples: Palm Nokia Rim Companies that did a 360 on their products and did OK: Motorola
With some of the new stuff coming out for smartphones like the Iphone and Androids, RIM phones are becoming less relevant by the minute.
The thing I hate about most remotes that come with devices (except strangely my DVR remote) is that they aren't really handy in the dark. Yeah I'm looking at you Logitech, Seriously? Google TV keyboard, awesome, Not Backlit? WHY?
I think maybe it would be nice if everything was just wifi, With bi-directional communications your remote could actually maybe know that the device powered down or the output was changed to another device. With IR mostly you get the "ok I tried doing what you told me to do but I have no idea if it happened" effect.
I'd argue that the environment that IE9 runs on will be gone long before firefox is. There's some paradigm shifts going on with smartphones (I haven't seen IE on Android or Iphones or blackberrys, or any tablets not running windows CE)
And with the stunning (compared to the Kin) amount of windows 7 phones produced, and a screaming new tablet version of Microsoft windows something coming (maybe sometime) in 2012, I can't see how IE won't continue to lose market. Oh and beta chrome 11 with freaking VOICE INPUT is out right now, so it's at least 2 better than IE.
It's not the real core of the issue. Most people with a reasonable background (10 years of development may be applicable) can write code in pretty much anything. The real issue is that the Senior guy was going to have to hand-hold the new hire through all the business processes, work-flows, documentation...
The new hire, just coming in would have the added advantage of not having 10+ years of baggage to support.
All in all, if I was the senior guy, I would have mentioned the 2 months of vacation I was planning to take, starting Monday.

I stopped reading right there.
Why did you quit reading? Did you get a Bingo?
I think you can monitor internet usage without deep packet inspection and logging. Doesn't
matter what they are bytes are bytes.
2013? Seriously?
Who would be going to these sites?
I'm guessing about .1% of ISP's will be able to support native V6 by then...
Or maybe when they were asked respondents thought they were answering something about a new version
of Intellectual Property.
Ok good, they can build all of them they want to. Preferable near places where wealthy people have spent way too much
money on their summer enclaves.
So if they build a bunch of these will it cause any issues with tides, speed of rotation of the earth or anything?

Actually I think it's encouraged in the western world, most companies hold insurance policies on their workers...
I did not accept the EULA.
Any lawyers want to represent?
Yeah got some email "allegedly" from Sony today. It takes a while to tell 77 million people to go to freecreditreport.com
But if it fails you probably won't need to evacuate between 10 and 50 miles from the site.

I think the marketing bloggers at Microsoft have too much time on their hands after the success of the Kin and
windows 7 phones.
The only real reasons to reboot a Unix system are, in no particular order:
Patches that require a reboot (Kernel...)
Upgrades that require a reboot.
Hardware issues (replacing hardware on some systems actually require you to shut down the boxes)
The every 5 year mandatory UPS power work.
If you've virtualized and zoned the heck out of your whole environment, what part do you really reboot?
And lets not forget, a reboot is NOT the same as a cold restart.
Must suck for all your clients/app developers/customers in China, India, Japan and Australia.
Second party controller users will be banned.
And for the record, I still haven't bought any games for my ps3
A tricorder?
Or maybe a TRS-80?

Actually cisco sells that too. Check their physical security products.

Creepy dead-faced robotic backseat drivers.
I've been using dropbox for a while. Mostly linux and android phone. Some windows (work puter)
I went to check and the linux version seems to be lagging a bit, it's at .067 or something.
But seriously, a pretty useful application. Congrats on a 1.0

If you can't prove you own an Xbox the price is $250
The only option is long term investments in companies that sell data storage, Netapp/EMC/Hitachi
