Who decides what to censor?
Why do they get to decide?
Put 4 Aussies (or, for simplicity, 4 humans),in a room, and you'll get 6 opinions.
I'm in favour of censoring you. What if I were awarded that right by whomever you have chosen gets to decide? How would you feel about censorship then?
cheers,
It's not incorrect that the comma is there - it's not necessary, but it's not wrong, as it's used (optionally) because the clauses are examples of extreme contrast.
Your first google hit "use of a comma" will explain.
Your relationship with your kids is 'open' on *your* terms.
Their alleged privacy is on your terms. They can't keep a private elephant in *your* provided safe.
This isn't openness - it's control, and there's a huge difference.
My son called me when he was arrested for impaired driving, and when he lost his *way* whilst under the influence of 'E'.
My youngest daughter called me when she got drunk (at age 16) and lost her way.
My oldest daughter had me purchase her first birth control pills; and her first pads.
All three of our adult children routinely thank us for the way in which we raised them. We respected them without controlling their every move.
Our friends routinely compliment us on our children. Their friends routinely compliment us on how we parent.
Does it make us right? No. Does it make us better? No. But I can bet that we know more about our children's *private* lives than you'll ever know about yours.
If you wish to be respected and trusted, you have to extend the same respect and trust.
They are definately able to find a link between pornography and paediatricians!!
Funny that, violence on TV (Big business) and in games doesn't lead to crimes but porn does. Who would have thought...
Being a child's physician is a crime? Who knew? That sure explains a lot.
This could only have been modded "flamebait" by a metallica fan who agrees with drm.
Probably someone who loves Vista, doesn't use car analogies...and...and moved out of his parents' basement years ago.
ZOMG! /. has been infiltrated! Where's the tinfoil?

For similar reasons, I kinda doubt he'll be returning to Slashdot. Or at least, not with his current login.
