That's where your wrong. Top exec's appear to ask stupid questions so that they can possibly make you look at a situation a different way.
You ask your employees dumb questions to keep them in check and on their toes. As an employer I would be much more comfortable if people could answer basic questions to me over the phone that suttering and looking through their notes for the dumb answer.
If they think I'm an idiot for questioning them the customer probably wont like the way they present a solution to them.
From seeing the trailer it looks like there might be a 1/2 decent movie to come out in 2001. Best I've see so far is Zoolander and that doesnt say much.
Doesn't anyone get the fact that in todays market if we piss off someone like microsoft, nike or ford they can just pick up their stuff and move to another country who will gladly accept their money?
This is what I don't understand about suing companies. Basicly we tell them that we dont want their business and to take their money machine else where. I'm sure russia would LOVE to have microsoft or intel paying taxes in their country.
and the government wanted to punish me for having a very successful business I'd pick up the company and go to some other country. I'm sure countries would gladly pay for microsoft to move its headquaters to their country. The same thing is happening with crypto. Microsoft is going to have "export laws" so like the cyptro companies they can move to sweeden or russia and import to the united states. Sure there are a few thousand employees they want to keep. But if they aren't a US business they can't be broken up/be restricted. Maybe they can ban the sale of windows in stores, but nothing stops you from purchasing a cd image on the net and burning a cd. I love linux as much as the next guy but if the government wants to play with other peoples money they can wait in line buy 5% and get a seat on the board.
I use the 3 line masq solution with ipchains found in many howtos and Ive found it works for multiple machines with my 10 base 2 network(BNC) starcraft, diablo, and everything but worms armagedon and dcc sends work.
usworst does stop some of them with its service but they dont stop the 'life insurance' and the 'new uswest service' calls we get frequently in phoenix, az. I called uswest and cussed at the service rep for half an hour about paying to be protected from unwanted phone calls when they still call my number... I got a nice letter from them the other day apoligizing =)
Having an install disk with qt and the framebuffer device would make graphical installs one step easier. Correct me if I'm wrong but this seems like a good thing =)
They start acting like they are supposed to. Seriously, why does ever gtk program have to be gnome only. I use gnome only because of some of their stuff. If I had more time I would remove most of the dependancies on gnome and go windowmaker only.
Ok fine I can't sell my domain to companyX but if companyX invites me to a meeting under contract and gives me 50000 bux I'll free up the domain name so they can register it. Every system is flawed

Infintinespawn 1.1 works perfectly under wine. Start it with: wine "infininitespawn.exe all the server stuff" -debug all
Homeworld works perfectly in linux with wine. The only reason you would want it ported is for GL graphics which aint a big deal IMHO.
