    How they claim the freedom to choose which OS you prefer, but it must be linux. If you love freedom of choice so much then you should not complain about people who prefer windows/macos/bsd/commercial unix/etc/etc.

    Radioactive material can give off 3 types of rays. Alpha, beta, and gamma. Look up the details for Americium and you will find that it gives off alpha rays which are very very weak. You can probably stop them with a single sheet of newspaper.

    How dangerous do you suppose something like Americium could be if smoke detectors are placed in every house and especially in childrens rooms. Also making nitro glycerine isn't that easy (or safe). One of the main ingrediants is nitric acid and you certainly can't go down to the corner drugstore and buy some.

    Its not fine however when you start breaking the law. I have no problems with peaceful protestors who stand around and wave signs. Its when they start blocking traffic or throwing objects, or interfearing with business.

    And I don't see a product thats capable of being shipped. It took MS less time to overtake Netscape in numbers of users. Until Mozilla runs better than IE 5.5 there is no way I plan to switch.

    IE has over 70% of the browser market now. Its faster and doesn't crash nearly as often as Netscape. Its even smaller. You have to get Netscape in a 20 meg zipfile that includes their mail/usenet/aim/shop features. A minimal IE install takes 7 meg (a few more if you want java). Weatherchannel is catering to the biggest group of users.

    I used to hang out in the warez channels on NewNet irc servers. A few years ago the SPA busted all the major channels. It was pretty sad since most of them were 13 year old kids with cable modems. The mp3 channels have search scripts set up that make it as easy as napster. About 5 minutes after the bust new warez channels popped right up to take their place. They never even made a dent. Long live #warezexceed

    Almost two years ago I spent around $450 on building a dual celeron 333 box and overclocked it to 500mhz. Running winbench its equal in speed to a 1ghz Athlon. Tell me that wasn't worth the price. Given how fast technology is growing, a 5 year warranty on the cpu is worthless. In 5 years your box probably won't even be around.

    Can't you just use the cable that is supposed to go to your sound card instead of the headphone jack? Its probably line level and perfect for your amp.
